Visited this restaurant with four friends on Friday evening. Our Amtrak train was 50 minutes late leaving Union Station, Washington, D.C. and lost a further 30 minutes on route to Princeton . Hence an 8pm reservation had to be changed to 9.30pm. The restaurant very kindly accommodated our needs. The restaurant is relatively small and tables are close together. However... More

We dined at the Blue Point Grill early on a Thursday evening and reservations were a must. The pros of the experience were that the Canadian Lake Trout and the crab guacamole martini were delicious. The cons were that the restaurant is crowded, noisy, some seating is located near the window where the food is served from, there are no... More

Dining outdoors is an option when weather permits. Food was delicious but VERY pricey. Tables for 2 were too close for comfort. Service was impeccable.

Highly recommend the sampler tray of oysters (although the Blue Points are my favorite) and the Chilean Sea Bass for your entree. You will not be disappointed!

Best fish restaurant in Princeton and perhaps in New Jersey. The Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection. Must park on the street and it can be hard to find a place.

Princeton is a culinary wasteland with no shortage of restaurants that over-price and under-deliver. Trust me, I live here, and when friends from out of town ask where they should heat in Princeton, our reply is usually "Brooklyn!" But every rule has its exception, and the exception here is the Blue Point Grill. Your first clue about the Blue Point... More

Blue point has a huge selection of fresh fish available every day. The place is small, the service is very good. The tin ceiling makes it a little noisey when crowded. Make a reservation and dine outside, weather permitting

I don't think this restaurant is on my overall top list, but considering only for Princeton, I can say yes. It is a very popular spot and you should really book it days, sometimes weeks before. Food is delicious and different compared to Princeton restaurants. Its prices are in mid range for a seafood restaurant. Service is good and one... More

Always happy with my experience at Blue Point Grill. Absolutely delicious and very fresh! They make wonderful vegetable side dishes, and go for the baked sweet potato with the maple-cinnamon butter. Great food and lovely to sit outdoors when it's nice out!
