Excellant and Different Seafood

The 2 keys to this experience are the fact that all fresh fish is labeled farmed or wild, and there are some hard to find options here, which give you the chance to try new things. the fish is simple grilled, or blackened nothing hiding or covering the fish, Portuguese Sardines, a dozen types of... read more

I love seafood and this is the place to go - in this area - for good, fresh seafood, It's fun to have so many delicious choices. There were so many types of fish that we had to ask about them to narrow our choices down. Our waitress was very helpful, she answered all of our questions and was very... More

I love this restaurant; I'm sorry only that it isn't in my neighborhood. A dozen different kinds of oysters from east and west coasts; had 6 of them; really cold and really delicious. Most fish is wild caught. Had softshell crabs and Barnegat sea scallops--both were delicious. Not inexpensive, but when you consider it's BYOB, it is very reasonably priced.... More

Visited with my mom for dinner on a Sunday night and had a great dinner. The menu is printed daily and notes which fish are wild caught. They also offer whole, head and tail-on fish which is quite rare. We ordered the octopus as an appetizer, I ordered the whole fried striped bass, and my mom ordered the pacific triple... More

My wife and I visited BPG on Saturday, April 25, and enjoyed an absolutely perfect seafood dinner. All the elements of great dining coalesce here, and leave us eager to return. As a matter of fact I made a reservation for another visit on our way out. I always consider food, service, and ambience as the criteria by which to... More

Thankfully, we had a $50 gift certificate for the Blue Point Grill, because despite the good, though not exceptional food, the cost of our meal was unreasonably high. We started by splitting a goat cheese salad (and, to their credit, our server served the salad split among us on two plates). We followed this with entrees of mahi mahi and... More

we had the very distinct pleasure of having our Easter dinner at Blue Point. If you like fish this is the place for you! The owner runs a couple restaurants and a fishmonger so you know your getting the best! Now, to the meal. I would say this is one of the most successful holiday dinners our family has had.... More

Stopped in for an early dinner here after a round of golf nearby. The fresh fish menu was extensive and creative. The service was outstanding with some great pointers on favorites. The BYOB makes things even more attractive with 2 liquor stores a block away. The farm raised fish versus the wild caught distinction on the menu is another bonus.... More

I made a big mistake. My wife loves fish so for her 50th birthday I booked a table at the Blue Point Grill based (I must say) on T/A reviews. What a mistake! My wife had her hair done and wore a lovely dress she had specially bought for the occasion expecting (as I did) the place to be somewhat... More

Count on two dozen or more fish entrees choices, several oyster varieties and much more fro the sea. Noisy, expensive, but you won't be disappointed if it's seafood you're craving.
