Fantastic!!!

A lady from the Princeton bookstore recommended the Blue Pointe Grill as one of the best places to have seafood and she was absolutely correct. I loved the lobster bisque. I've been there number of years ago, but did not really remember how it was. This time the food was excellent. Crawfish cakes just outstanding and the sea bass was the best I had in a decade. Place is very noisy (inside) but they also have number of outside tables. It does not look too fancy, but the food belongs... More

My family and I go to Blue Point all the time! We love it, our friends love it! We usually get the octopus, grilled calamari, or freshly shucked oysters. As for main course, it tough to choose! We usually get halibut, scallops, crab cakes, or the mix grill. Cream spinach for the table is a must! The staff is attentive... More

Always great fish, with good variety. Chef has terrific secret vegetable recipes that I never manage to duplicate at home and staff is warm and friendly. Best to make a reservation as soon as you know you are coming, it is always busy. BYOB.

I like to be honest in my review in both good and bad. I frequently will call the manager over to our table to notify them of outstanding service from a waiter or the quality of the food. I often give a restaurant a 'second chance' if we are served a bad meal. Every restaurant has an 'off day'. So... More

The positives first: there's outdoor seating, preferred to indoor, it's byob, and there is a large selection of seafood. Negatives: extremely pricey for what you get, inside seating is cramped and dark, you are practically on top of the other tables; some sides have come to the table cold, when they are supposed to be hot; crab martini w/ tortilla chips-... Well prepared dishes. My wife and I both enjoyed our dishes. Nice place, very popular so reservations are recommended during peak periods. You can park for free along any of the nearby side streets.

This is a nice friendly BYOB w convenient metered parking. We had a reservation for four adults for Saturday evening and we were promptly seated at an indoor table. The wait staff was very attentive, quickly serving our wine, taking our order, and refilling our waters. The appetizers were very good- guacamole with crab served in a martini glass. it... More

Likely best tasting restaurant in Princeton. I'm not a fish person at all, but the 2 meals I've had blown me away. Awesome raw bar, I'm craving more... Great apps and perfectly cooked fish. Make reservations, byob, and sit outside if you can!

If you haven't been to this place, go! Warning, this restaurant mainly servers fish and by mainly I mean 90% of the menu is fish related. The choices of fish is vast and the service is friendly and professional. As for price, expect to pay, but you will walk away feeling more than satisfied. Would I go again, you bet... More
