The best restaurant in beautiful Princeton. This elegant but not overstated fine dining bistros is the perfect place for a great meal in a very relaxing atmosphere. It is set in a grand old home walking distance from its main drag.

It has been many years since eating at the Peacock Inn which used to be a go to restaurant for special occasions for my wife and I. My nephew and his soul mate picked the restaurant for a special dinner for the three of us. The restaurant has been made over and the decorator has very tastefully crated a very... More

The gnocchi are the best you can find anywhere, bread is stellar, and the service is impeccable. The chef tries to accommodate dietary issues and the setting is romantic. I think the price of the food is worth it. The food is beautifully prepared and plated. For example my roasted cod came with mini falafel which were crisp and full... More

Service was impeccable from valet parking onward. We were celebrating our anniversary and chose to have the fixed (high) price tasting menu. This is comprised of 5 courses. One has two choices for each course. We thought the food was exceptional and met our high expectations.

I hadn't been to the Peacock in 20 years, but when my husband and I wanted to share a romantic dinner at a special place, I decided to make a reservation at the Peacock. We were so impressed by the service and the food, I have been talking about it since we left the restaurant last night! We arrived early... More

A highly recommended and reviewed restaurant in Princeton. Ate here on a Saturday evening. Beautiful facility, exterior and dining room. Polite valet parking. Service was outstanding. Food was very good (my entrée could have been hotter), a great cheese course and reasonably priced bottle of wine ($55) from Chile. Overall a great meal but as mentioned in the title at... More

We went here for our anniversary. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and patient and the simulated starry night room created a very pleasant atmosphere. We knew ahead of time that it was rather expensive so we weren't surprised by the prices. The fare was not particularly fabulous, but everything was tasty. In my opinion their menu plays it too safe.... More

We came here for our anniversary based upon the reviews and we weren't disappointed. We chose to go a-la-carte as the tasting menu (which sounded amazing) was probably too much food for this particular occasion (even though it's small portions). Our waiter, Manny, was very attentive and very good. The amuse bush was a carrot soup, very tasty. I started... More

We had one of the nicest dinners we've had in a long time. The food was stellar, the service was attentive but not intrusive, the atmosphere lovely. I'd return in a heartbeat. It's expensive but worth it for a special night.

The Peacock Inn has been open in its present incarnation since 2010. My wife and I have toyed with going here for most of that time but found it prohibitively expensive. When this establishment offered a 5 year anniversary special of Brunch or Dinner for $20.10 (get it?) we thought this was our opportunity. We were locked out of dinner... More
