We ate in the restaurant and had the tasting menu with the grand wine pairing. We both enjoyed our choices but the gnocchi was fabulous, the wine was generously poured and the service was impeccable.

Our first visit to this charming old mansion-turned-restaurant was one of the best dining experiences ever! To start, the tables are perfectly spaced apart to insure you have a 'private' dining experience (perfect for a romantic dinner). Every single dish brought to our table was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious! The service was attentive without being obtrusive and everyone there... More

My husband took me here for dinner for my birthday. There is complimentary valet parking. We were greater by a very friendly and enthusiastic host as we entered the front door. Instantly you can appreciate the beautiful decor and surroundings. Subtle gray tones with a subtle peacock pattern adorns the walls of the main dining area we were in. The... More

We saw the great reviews and went for brunch expecting an interesting menu. It was mostly a hotel breakfast menu with most choices revolving around eggs. There was really only a few menu items that favoured lunch. The salmon was good and freshness of ingredients was good but given the price point the restaurant is going for it was a... More

We went to The Peacock Inn for the first time in July. We had the 5 course tasting menu with the wine pairing. Overall it was excellent. I had the foie gras for the first course which was fantastic, my fellow diners all had the tuna tartar. They were a bit disappointed with the tuna, not as flavorful as they... More

The expertise with which the bartender creates his signature cocktails is, for me the main attraction of the Peacock Inn. We keep returning and that says a lot.

I hate getting dressed up for dinner which is why I had never eaten at the Peacock Inn before, but we were staying the night so I figured I could change into a dress shirt and slacks for dinner then get comfy again right after no big deal. Well, I'll tell you, I'm glad I did and I'll definitely be... More

The Peacock Inn is a very special place with incredible food! Every dish was superb. The service was exceptional. The ricotta gnocchi was just about the best thing I have ever eaten! The sirloin was perfection. The only thing keeping me from giving an excellent rating was the first impression when we walked in the door. We raced to get... More

What a nice surprise. I always expect average fair for a local inn, but this was very gourmet and not what we were expecting. The gnocchi was excellent as was the handmade pasta. We mostly had appetizers (two nights in a row) - salad was excellent, tuna maki was delicious, corn soup AMAZING and the roast lobster entre was superb.... More

The food, wine list, ambiance and service were perfect. The salmon and duck exceeded any expectations. Why this isn't rated in the top 4 or 5 in the Princeton area is beyond believe.
