We went here for our anniversary. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and patient and the simulated starry night room created a very pleasant atmosphere. We knew ahead of time that it was rather expensive so we weren't surprised by the prices. The fare was not particularly fabulous, but everything was tasty. In my opinion their menu plays it too safe.... More

We came here for our anniversary based upon the reviews and we weren't disappointed. We chose to go a-la-carte as the tasting menu (which sounded amazing) was probably too much food for this particular occasion (even though it's small portions). Our waiter, Manny, was very attentive and very good. The amuse bush was a carrot soup, very tasty. I started... More

We had one of the nicest dinners we've had in a long time. The food was stellar, the service was attentive but not intrusive, the atmosphere lovely. I'd return in a heartbeat. It's expensive but worth it for a special night.

The Peacock Inn has been open in its present incarnation since 2010. My wife and I have toyed with going here for most of that time but found it prohibitively expensive. When this establishment offered a 5 year anniversary special of Brunch or Dinner for $20.10 (get it?) we thought this was our opportunity. We were locked out of dinner... More

New Jersey by NJ Monthly - too many to include in the short space provided. Whether I come here for brunch, lunch or an opulent dinner I am never disappointed with the experience On our last visit, we treated ourselves to the Spring Five Course Tasting Menu with Grand Wine Pairing and were blown away. What a glorious experience! Start... More

Food may just be delicious or average. Ambient is very classy, perhaps a little bit too much. Staff is also a guess and if some regular is there..then you are the least of the last. Been there several times for business or pleasure. I will be back because I enjoy the unknown, it is up to you if you do... More

We had a leisurely and delicious meal at the Peacock Inn. The service was attentive but not obsequious and we were able to make a change in the tasting menu because I don't eat meat.

Went to this lovely restaurant for a Mother's Day brunch today. The food was terrific - interesting selections all extremely well executed. Service, however, was a big disappointment. It was interminably slow. more than 30 minutes between each course. We had to ask where each course was as there was such a long wait. Several tables who came in after... More

I want to thank Emmanuel and the staff for making my Birthday dinner one of the best birthday's dinners I have ever had. The service was fantastic as were the vegetarian options that were available. I also want to thank them for allowing Jason Varitek for paying for my Birthday as a great surprise to me. I will come back... More

I will start by saying that my husband and I visit the Peacock Inn restaurant several times a year, and it is one of my two or three favorite restaurants in the Princeton area. We usually get the 5 course tasting menu with the grand wine pairings, which are excellent. The service is usually quite good - however on our... More
