Description: Executive Chef Scott Anderson chose the name "elements" for the restaurant because he is passionate about sourcing fresh, local, organic ingredients and sustainably raised meats and seafood. He wants the very elements of your meal to play a major role in the taste of it. Then he and his team work to reveal the complementary flavor dimensions inherent in the elements by skillfully combining them—often in edgy new ways. Restaurant menus change constantly here, making this the dinner restaurant that is excitingly different every time you return. If you're a foodie, you want to know where—and how--your food grew. It's fascinating, it's a good health practice and it provides extra pleasure from everyday experiences, like a meal with friends. elements is the American restaurant serving local steak and seafood, but with global influences in seasoning and cooking methods. A true culinary adventure!

I am from France. My review is very simple. If you are from Europe, you will be very disappointed with their food and wine. But if you are from USA, you will think that this resto is amazing. Please lower your expectation if you are from Europe.

Food is just not great and very expensive. Was disappointed, especially after reading all the good reviews.

If you're looking for a great brunch spot this is the place. We had a tasting course which consisted of 5 courses and along side we sipped on some Bloody Marys. Everything was delicious and the service was more than accommodating. You get exactly what you pay for. I will be returning very soon.

Elements is a few years old in Princeton, but it is still one of the best. I am reviewing it having dined there for the first time shortly after it opened but it is still a terrific place for outstanding nouveau cuisine and and elegant atmosphere. It is not a place to bring young children due to the expense and... More

For a couple years now I had wanted to try Elements as an alternative to the Melting Pot as a special occasion restaurant. This time I booked the reservation for my wife's birthday. To be honest I did have my concerns about the restaurant before going- I read a ton of reviews on yelp, tripadvisor, etc.. and they ranged from... More

Last Saturday a gentleman friend and I went to Elements. A bit of confusion when we first arrived at 8:15pm w/a reservation. A seat not available. Oh, yes, it was available. Oh, wait a few mintues. Yes, you can follow me. Hold on...sorry. Ok. It's ready. We were seated against the far left wall. I had the bench seat under... More

Unbelievably slow and pretentious. Three and a half hours to receive an unremarkable meal. The servers are rote programmed. Skip here - just go straight to New York.

One just cannot give this restaurant anything over average due their pricing. It's not worth it. However, that being said, the food and service are wonderful. But the open dining room ambiance, busy bustle, very casual diners, location, etc - just bring this restaurant down to a Bistro level. And, $150 per person is no Bistro. My husband and I... More

I'm not a foodie, so perhaps didn't appreciate the fine touches, but it was all a bit precious for me. The food was good, but not spectacular. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
