We went for lunch recently. Food was not bad. Service was lacking. For the price, I would have expected more. A man at the table next to us wanted some ice cream for desert. He was told that there was ice cream on the pear tart. He asked if he could have just ice cream and the waiter said "I... More

$85 for dinner for two with no wine. The quality didn't warrant that at all. My wife ordered a Veal Parm dish------and was grossed out by the quality of the sauce------and appalled that the dish contained one tiny piece of Veal. Trust me-------neither the food nor the ambience----(pizza joint----checkered table cloths stained with sauce from prior diners)-----warrant the price you'll... More

My mother was visiting from out of town and we decided to take her to Camillo's. She loved the ambience - as if we were in Italy. The host, German, welcomed us and told us the specials; they all sounded so good we wanted one of each. We started 2 salads and then ordered 2 of the special entrees: veal... More

My family of 4 went for the first time based on prior "OK" reviews. Nice setting, nice room. Then things went downhill quickly. I ordered the mussels which were very few in number compared to other Princeton restaurants, but passable. The waiter basically ignored us for most of the meal. This is really not an Italian restaurant, more of a... More

My husband and I did that, and it was a night to remember. We began with oysters, seviche, sardine and bruscetta. Then amazing lamb chops, and tiramisu, I can't even remember everything, but I can't wait to go again. He is totally 'old world' believes in perfecting tradition (he says).

As I wander by Camillo's a few times a week we finally decided to try the food again after a hiatus of some three years, figuring that if it continued to survive it had to have it's good qualities. And it did. The service was polite and efficient and the food serviceable, though perhaps a bit expensive given the quality.... More

Just restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in Princeton. They specialize in Italian seafood dishes. Their reasonable and their other dishes are magnificent . As one of my favorite places in Princeton The Veal Parmesan with homemade fettuccine is as good as it could get at a reasonable price. I given five stars for the food. However the... More

We've always been happy with the food and ambience at Camillos .The staff have been friendly and eager to please. You can't miss with the oysters or fresh fish and sea-food pastas.Everything is cooked to order so service is on the leisurely side--definitely a place to go when not in a hurry.
