I would not normally write a bad review about a restaurant but the food I recently had at the Tap Room was sub-par to say the least. The decor is nice. Rather dark inside but they have nice photos on the wall of famous Princeton alumni. As for the food, I ordered the crab cake sandwich, which was simply awful.... More

We enjoyed a cooler summer day sitting outside on the patio under a large umbrella. Our wine was ice cold and our pasta was delicious. We loved being outdoors and enjoyed the people watching. Not to be missed - a trip inside to the established tavern and the famous historical mural

This place indeed feels like a "tap room". It was very charming. You can feel the history of the place the moment you walk inside. We had a nice lunch there. Three of us ordered the cheeseburger, which was very good. This is the kind of place where you just feel like you are going to get a good cheeseburger,... More

Our server was excellent. If you book a bed and breakfast package, there is a special menu for that and it is very limited. I ordered the omelette, my hub ordered the omelette and wanted a side of pancakes that was not on the menu. Since I didn't have toast and he didn't have potatoes, she didn't charge extra for... More

I have been going here literally for decades. The food quality has varied at times, but sitting in at a table that some youth scratched their initials or some other indelible mark 80 years ago for the ages makes for a very nostalgic experience. A must for a first time visitor to Princeton. Good news too, I was recently there... More

I'd chock this up to going in late, but it was 9 pm on a Saturday night. We go in for dinner sit down and wait... Finally the server decides to come take our order. They were accommodating by being able to whip up a chicken sandwich and ham and cheese which were not on the menu, so that was... More

We stopped here because we couldn't decide where to go. We ate out on the patio which was nice. Hamburgers were delicious. Steal salad was good. Pasta wasn't as good. Lots to choose from and reasonable price.

What a quaint hangout -- so many distingushed people have haunted this place. We had a nice dinner. The food was interesting and flavorful -- it's not the typical bland hotel food. The service was casual but still well-mannered, a reflection of the Ive League?

We went this past Saturday. We sat outside. The waitress came over about ten minutes with three glasses of water, there was four of us. She then came back with another. She came back about 10-15 minutes later and asked for the order. Then we sat and waited and waited and waited. We were all done with our water and... More

Yankee Doodle tap room is located inside the Nassau Inn. The pub is pretty dark inside, but they have a decent happy hour and the apps we've ordered every time have been great. Save some time and order at the bar because servers are few and far between (and may even just be the bartender at times.) we usually arrive... More
