Years of visiting this place. Old world looking bar with great tomato pies, perfectly chilled peroni beers and the beauty that it is family owned by super nice people.

Conte's is an old-fashioned college-town bar and pizzaria - definitely not a 'chain' experience. It's somewhat worn and tattered, and the bar is huge with hundreds of bottles on view. The service was pleasant and reasonable quick. (I sat at the bar and visited during the summer when things are relatively quiet.) You won't find modern management techniques here: drinks... More

The pizza here was excellent, very light, very thin and not a grease factory. The prices are fair , they serve alcohol , beer, and wine which many Princeton area restaurants don't have permits. Lastly, I had no issues with the service as I had read prior to going. Not the best, but definitely a killer pie !

We don't normally buy pizza as we are picky. We normally make it ourselves. However that isn't possible when you travel. We were pleasantly surprised by Conte's. Nice, thin crust. Decide what you want to eat and drink before you get in line because there is always a line. Friendly atmosphere. As the World Cup was on it felt like... More

It's a bar. They serve pizza. The pizza is good. The staff is very unfriendly. Yes, we had a large group on a Friday night. But you would've thought we were asking them to deliver the moon! Next time we'll find a place that has a waitstaff that wants that big tip!

This is a local neighborhood bar that has decent pizza. If you want a nice friendly bar pizza place this is it in Princeton. Nothing special, even the pizza is average. But it has all the ambience of a nice local friendly bar which makes up for the OK pizza. Hardly worth going out of your way for or enduring... More

Just took another trip to Princeton, and of all the places to eat, we go down Witherspoon St. to Conte's.

Some people claim that DeLorenzos in Robbinsville, NJ is the best, but for me, it's Conte's. Thin, crispy crust, no frills pizzeria, bar, TVs. We usually order the house salad and a large mushroom and pepperoni, but every topping I've had is good. Get there before 5 PM if you don't want to wait. The place is a gold mine.

Whenever we visit Princeton we make it to Conte's for pizza. It is a no frills spot that caters to locals with a huge following. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed with a short wait to be seated. It seems people are courteous and recognize others are waiting, so they don't park at their table.... More
