Conte's is relaxed, fun and feels like a small town, down to earth place in a town that often doesn't feel that way (though I love Princeton) The pizza is almost always burned, but the wine is good and inexpensive, and there's something comforting about the not always friendly wait staff. Great Friday and Saturday evening hangout

Thin crust pizza at its best. The crowd is noisy, friendly, happy, and hungry. The service can be very slow on busy nights but they have a lot of beer, wine, and conversation. The salads are very average and beer and wine are more pricey than I think they should be. We go often for the pizza!

We order two pies. It was an hour and 45 minute wait until you could pick up. They are very very busy. They tell you when you call to make sure that you know how long. The longest I ever waited for pick up. But, the pizza was quite tasty. The crust very thin, but a different consistency, not like... More

This place has been around forever, and they make an extremely tasty thin-crust pizza much like that I remember from Lento's in Brooklyn, which closed a long time ago. Good prices, and Peroni on tap - what more could you want? Enjoy! Just plan on waiting a half hour or more for a table - it's that good!

Conte's pizza is the best! My wife and I have been going there since 1976, WE LOVE IT!! Great service too! Gotta get there early or you'll wait for a table but its worth it..We go Saturdays at 4pm when they open...You should try it, you'll be hooked too!

Can you find better in New Haven? Yeah, but that's a haul. This is BY FAR the best pizza in town, and I always make a stop there whenever I'm visiting. Go early -- it gets really busy and an hour wait on a Friday or Saturday night is normal.

If this is the best pizza Princeton has to offer I'm glad I was too dumb to ever go to college there. The pizza was terrible and the place has all of the charm of a bowling alley. Not sure what is up with all of the glowing reviews. I've had better pizza (by far) out of a box from... More

I liked the fact that it's a local place and is as far from a chain as possible. Overall I think people were friendly, but also not above and beyond. I got the "special" pizza pie and it was ok but really felt it had just too much off all on it to be really enjoyed. So possible I took... More

Supper pizza place - one of the best in the world (and I've been to a lot). Nothing fancy. Just really good basic Italian pizza. Terrific bar. Often long wait to get a table but can usually sit at the bar. Waiters are really friendly. Great beer. A favorite spot for a casual, reasonably priced meal.

A must if you are in the area. Its a dive but worth it. I have never tried anything but the pizza, but the pizza is very, very good.
