This was my first time there and I really enjoyed the pizza. I had been told it had the best thin crust pizza around but that didn't turn out to be the case. The pizza was delicious but a tad too thick to be truly called thin crust pizza. I didn't care.......it was wonderful! Our server was very nice and... More

This is restaurant truly an original Pizza is the tin crust type with great sauce, so there is no lack in the kitchen. There are two things that are a problem to me, they are: 1) in my opinion, updating that would still retain the historical bent that they seem to thrive on. Better tables and chairs and get rid... Been there a few times and food is consistently good. Enjoyed the pizza choices, good beer and huge salads, easily shared by two people. Not much on atmosphere, but food carries the day. Service has always been good. Place gets crowded, so go early if you can.

Thin crust pizza with toppings (notably by its absence was eggplant). On our evening there the crust was not salted, the sauce was sparse and the cheese nearly non-existent. The only way we knew there was salad available was because we saw salad on another table. We were never given a menu. This is a Princeton tradition...I am not sure... More

This is a local Princeton bar establishment with a long history. You do not go there for the ambiance, you go for the pizza and beer. It's really just a long bar (good tap beer) with a bunch of tables filing up the rest of the room. It's good for families, couples (but not romantic) and friends. A lot of... More

A great place for a family meal. No matter how much noise and mess your kids make, there is always a group on another table making more. We went with someone with very specific dietary requirements. The owner allowed us to bring a small frozen pizza for him and they heated it for us. Now that is worth its weight... More

I've eaten Conte's pizza a few years ago and loved it. Visited a few days ago with friends and this time it was awful! Everyone in my group said the pizza had NO flavor, the crust was thick and tasteless. We all came to conclusion that it tasted exactly like frozen pizza. I'm not sure where the great recents reviews... More

1960's dark dank bar houses Princeton staple for pizza. Families make it a stop after the little league game. There is a good standard pizza, variety of toppings limited. Service is decent, but not always with a smile,as it certainly seems most of wait staff has been there centuries (not by age, but attitude). Last visit, the less than quaint... More

i have been there many times and thought service was avg. Then I started Ordering takeout- voilà it has been great pizza without the disappointment of service. It is understandable because they make the best pizza and always busy. So forget the expectations with the aervice and enjoy great Pizza.
