They offer a happy hour that lasts from 4 pm to closing on weekdays. So we decided to go with friends a few times. Seated at the bar or at the bar tables was fine for us. We ordered from the bar menu for both drinks and light bar food. The fish tacos were very good, the flounder sandwich excellent.... More

Thank you Bill for sharing your experience. For future planning please note that our winter happy hour is available in the bar area 7 days a week from 4pm to closing. It's a great way to enjoy a bite and drinks with your friends without breaking the bank. Cheers! More

Great views and service. We take our toddler and parents with us all the time. Lots of seniors here, and kid friendly (lobster chairs provided)..... Our son looks forward to the views (watching the fish boats) and his fruit salad and bread basket that arrives with his kid menu. Food is basic shore cuisine, not fancy. We usually have crab... My husband and I along with out of town family wanted dinner with a view during the holiday season. The view was about all we got. It was early on a weeknight and restaurant was sparsely occupied. All ordered early bird complete dinners, and I might mention here that I don't consider $23 a real early bird bargain. Entrees were... More

My wife and I hadn't been here in years, but our last experiences have been good. As you can tell not this time. You're server seemed to be preoccupied with something whenever did determine. After several attempts to have her wait while enjoyed our wine we finally gave in. Let me mention that the restaurant is far from capacity. Our appetizers... More

Unfortunately not much in the way of the quality of food has changed since the last time I visited. The food is unimpressive and the wait staff inattentive. Maybe because I go normally off-season, but service should always be good, not just seasonal. This time I had a light lunch comprised of the just so, so Lobster Salad Roll. It's... More

Have not been here for 2 year's because of the poor quality food. I found it to be acceptable. The salad was very good, my wifes stuffed flounder was better than just acceptable and my halibut happened to be pretty good. They could use a better cook or just send the current chief to cooking school and you could have... More

Lovely water view, . Big salads, great soups and try the coconut shrimp. This place is perfect for families, couples or solos.

On a beautiful November afternoon we decided to find a nice outside location for lunch. Decided to drive to Point Pleasant and have lunch on the deck of Jack Baker's Wharfside Restaurant. It did not start well because the deck was covered with plastic sheets that you could hardly see through. We would have been much better off in the... More

We were told by our hotel that the Wharfside had great seafood, so we decided to try. What a disappointment. I ordered clams, which were tough and dry. My husband ordered the seafood platter, the shrimp was overcooked as well as the scallops. The Manhattan chowder was the best part of the meal.
