Neighbors of ours treated us to dinner here one night and totally enjoyed every bite. My wife ordered the filet mignon and I ordered the Blackened Swordfish. My wife said it one of the best cooked and tenderest of any filet she had ever eaten. The swordfish was excellent. Strongly recommend anyone visiting the Point Pleasant area in Jersey to... More

We arrived at around 8:00, the restaurant wasn't even half full. Three other tables were seated after us. We ordered and got our salads and appetizers in a timely manner, and were told our entres would be out shortly. We sat and waited, and waited and waited. The other tables that arrived after us got their food and yet we... More

My family and I went last night for my 48th Birthday. It was not crowded. We brought our own wine. We asked the waitress for wine glasses and the glasses that were brought out were filthy. Quite disgusting. My daughter asked for water and that took about 15 minutes. The waitress came and took our order and we sat, and... More

We arrived at 4:30 on a Sunday for dinner. The place was empty; not a good sign. It did get busy around 6 pm. The restaurant is in an old house which sometimes can be very nice, however this was just ok. The wait staff left much to be desired, very opinionated in my opinion...lol. I don't really care what... Was not that crowded when we arrived at 7pm on a Friday night but soon the place was filled. Service was slow and we were told that there were only two servers because usually it is a slow time. Food was very good but the room needs a much improved ventilation system as there were many tables that were doing... More

Not only did I make a reservation, I still had to wait 25 minutes because the host said there were walk ins before us. After we were seated, we waited at least 10 minutes for our waiter to come to the table. Never introducing himself or welcoming us , he says "do you guys need drinks?" Seriously...who says that! After... More

I took my family to Pt. Plst. Beach to find some good seafood restaurants along the inlet. It was a Sat. night in August. Oh man....so crowded! No where to put our car. Then I remembered Captain Ed's Place. It was just 5 or 6 minutes inland on Arnold Avenue. Same delicious seafood without all the crowds and aggravation. I... More
