I love eating here. Steak on a stone (very hot piece of granite) is my favorite (this entree is NOT for kids as they can burn themselves). Drunken clams and smashed potatoes and the dressing on the salad is delicious as well. I highly recommend this place.

Captain Ed's was a disappointment. They ran out of wine and the restaurant had little ambiance. If all you care about is an expensive meal with no wine and no class, this might work for you, but I wouldn't waste my time or money there again. Do your research and read lots of reviews before going out in this area.... More

If you like poor service, mediocre food, and an eyesore for a venue, look no further than Captain Ed's! This sad excuse for a restaurant, if it is even deserving of this title, is fully clad with plastic table cloths and dirty fish tanks filled with beady-eyed fish that seem to creepily stare at you. When my family attended this"eating... More

Tom and I try to come down to Captain Eds whenever we can. The food is expertly prepared by Ed and the servers, such as Margaret work hard to make sure the patrons are always taken care of. It is our pleasure to recommend this restaurant..in closing try the shrimp scampi!

Every time I want a seafood restaurant that is B.Y.O.B. I pick Captain Ed's. The food is great. My friends and I love the buffalo shrimp, crab dip, clams casino and the lobster bisque. I use to get the steak and crab legs. However, the last few visits the steak wasn't that great so my last visit I opted. just... More

Very good, friendly dinning experience. A good place for a informal quiet dinner. This was mid week, before the summer crowds. Since it is small, it could get very busy on a summer weekend.
