Great food and service

Europa South has a great Portugese menu. The seafood is very fresh and they have some interesting dinner options. They offer great service and entertainment. The bar really gets fun when the locals start ball room dancing. They are so good! Sometimes they will even teach you a thing or two:-)

I thought I had the best Paella in Miami, I was wrong. The PussyCat and I decided to stop in on the snowy first night of spring. She had the lobster bisque to start and the shrimp and scallops ala chef, I started with the crab stuffed mushrooms and had the seafood paella. EVERYTHING was very delish, and perfectly done,... I usually don't comment on price but when my expectations are high and so are the prices I expect to be blown away. As good as the food was as was the service I wasn't blown away. Details which would have put it over the top just weren't done. I will certainly continue to go here and hope to see... More

The food here is very good and the service is always friendly. Good wine list and specials. Good nightlife too for after dinner fun. Dancing by the bar area all night. Loads of fun and very good dancers and music.

We went there for a Fado performance, for which we paid $25 each extra. They took us into a back room where the odor of the scented candles burning on the tables assaulted us. The food (paella Valenciana, shrimp Europa) was bland, but they brought out Tabasco sauce when I asked for some spice. It seemed the same rice was... More

This was our 3rd visit to Europa, but our first full dining experience at this popular Portuguese establishment. . In the past we were attracted to the unique outdoor cafe setting, it's always jam-packed on summer weekends so we had stopped in for drinks. On this visit I was thrilled to see a Tapas menu since I prefer sampling the... More

We stopped by for happy hour the other day and were duly impressed. The Sangria was delicious and the tapas selection was quite good. We had the mussels and a pork stew selection; both were very tasty. Since the tapas were top quality; I am very sure the main menu will be the same. I am looking forward to that... More

We eat frequently at Europa South. It is one of our favorite places in the area. Service is usually prompt and friendly. The food can be very good. The restaurant can be crowded and a bit tight in the dinning room. My favorites are the Chorizo as a starter and the Scallops Bordalesa as a main. Try the house special... More

Dinner on 8.2.2014. My house specialty of "Shrimp Alfonso XIII" consisted of microwaved mashed potatoes, some variation on a watery marsala sauce, all served on an odd silver fish-shaped plate. Calamari appetizer was rubbery with a sickeningly sweet sauce and thick dark batter. Shrimp appetizer was served in a wooden bowl of oil and burnt garlic. Had this random dude... More
