Fantastic Breakfast

We recently visited Perks Cafe on our last PPB trip. It had been years since we'd been there. I forgot how good the food, staff and ambiance is there. Made me wonder why I hadn't been there in so long - Go, you won't be disappointed. Their service is the benchmark for quality servers, food was... read more

We were in PPB this past weekend for my son's baseball tournament. We stopped in for a quick lunch before our next game. We had around 15 people in our party and although they were quite busy, they quickly accommodated us. We told them we were in a rush and the server was very understanding. He brought out our food... This was probably the worst place for breakfast ever. The pancakes were very heavy and dry and served with the cheapest syrup money can buy. Coffee was old. The only reason for two stars is our server who was very sweet. Cannot pay me to go back.

I am truly sorry I just can't think how the coffee could be old as we go through so fast, I even have one person who only makes it as we go through it so quickly, I'm sure if you asked we would have made you a fresh pot. It is a bit stronger than most because we spend the... More

There were 8 of us having breakfast, we all ordered somethng different, and we all enjoyed it very much. Very efficient, helpful and friendly staff. They were very busy in there and in fact cars were starting to line up to get in the car park, obviously a very popular eatery! Would definitely eat there again.

The staff was very accommodating to our needs (3 children who are 3 years old or younger!) and the food was delivered quickly, fresh, with a smile! My 3 year old boy who usually does not eat anything we order for him devoured his pancakes and fruit and that's saying something!!! We used to visit often when we lived in... More

Perks has the best breakfast and lunch menu around, with food perfectly prepared and an attentive and caring staff. All this topped off by the owner, Aristotle, who has just the right combination of hands-on involvement and giving his employees the tools to succeed. Great environment to have brunch, and though it would succeed anywhere, being at the Jersey Shore... More

Stopped in for lunch and was warmly greeted by the hostess and seated. Our waitress was very sweet and took our orders promptly. Our meals were very good and more than enough. It was a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere and we will definitely be returning when in Point Pleasant.
