"Cheers" type atmosphere.

Deducted a star for inattentiveness of barmaid and bartender. My friends and my drink glasses were both empty and pushed to the edge of the bar. Several pass bys but nary a glance. Had to get their attention for both the 2nd and 3rd round. Everything else a positive. Clean environment including... read more

Great atmosphere and place for drinks, apps and sushi. Forget anything else. Dinners are tasteless and over priced. Ordered a shrimp dinner over pasta for $28., which contained 4 medium shrimp. When they first opened a few years ago, you would receive hot, soft pretzels with 3 dipping sauces free. Now they charge for the pretzels which seem like any... More

Their bisque was really good. I'd probably go back just for that. The rest of the food was ok but nothing really had that Wow factor. Service was average, not bad, not great.

Bar area is beautiful. Very nice and relaxing. Great cocktails. The calimari is the best I have ever had. This place is pricy, but generally well worth the extra cost. Service at dinner in the past has been spotty so we have not returned for dinner recently.

This was our first visit to 709, we celebrated Valentine's Day. We opted for an early reservation, and everything was very good. We were seated immediately, and our server was prompt with drinks and specials. Try the pear Martini, it is delicious. The sushi was fresh and the Cioppino was excellent. We would definitely return when we are in the... More

Let's start with 6pm reservations and not being seated until 6:30. (There were plenty of empty tables). We were seated another 10 minutes before we saw our waitress, another 10 minutes to get our drinks. 15 minutes later our appetizers and soup delivered at same time. Don't order the beer pretzels to me they taste and look like the grocery... More

My wife and I were on a date nite with a sitter watching the kids. We stopped for a drink as we were dinning @ Prime 13 (see that review). We made our way around the bar and attempted to get the attention of one of 4 bartenders. I knew there was trouble when the guy ahead of me wished... More

We went to 709 when it opened a few years ago - food, drinks and atmosphere was great. We live "down the shore" and decided to go back recently for Happy Hour since the online reviews were good but sadly, things have changed. They do have skilled bartenders and they were attentive and very pleasant but the quality of the... More

We ate our New Year's Eve dinner there last night. We expected it to be packed but it wasn't!! As always, the food was delicious, although we did wait a long time for our drinks. Perhaps it was because the bar was busy. Nothing beats their soft pretzels and dipping mustards!! Tried sushi for the first time. It was the... More

Best happy hour! Cosmos are perfect! We order off of the Happy Hour menu and it's just great. Pizza, Flatbreads, Wings and more. Really really good!
