So far we have dined outside for lunch and dinner and have had the lobster roll, grilled mahi- mahii, pot of steamers, clam strips, tuna bites, coconut shrimp taco and the shrimp burrito, all which were terrific.

Taken here by work colleagues who love this place but I found it very average. I love seafood but was disappointed with the choice of non-deep fried foods. The crab cakes were very meaty and tasty though. Very basic restaurant.

Overpriced, and everything is fried. Outdoor seating is dirty and loud. You have to really want to sit outside by the boats to enjoy this place.

This place is right on the dock where the fish is unloaded from the boats. There is an outside restaurant where you can get all kinds of steamed seafood and an indoor restaurant with a more extensive menu. Food is always great, staff is great, and it's a BYOB!

I can attest that the positive reviews here are true. Such a treat to have fresh seafood on vacation in Point Pleasant, where boardwalk fast food dominates and quality restaurants are a bit hit or miss. Reds lived up to its hype. We opted for outside seating for a: the sunset view, and b: the main restaurant is small, and... More

Two options: Order and sit down OR Table service. We opted to go inside. Full menu inside. A little limited outside. Clam Chowder was full of clams. Bisque was good too. I got the twin lobsters stuffed with crab. Great grilled asparagus and risotto. My wife got the flounder. Biggest and freshest piece of Flounder I've ever tried. Fresh is... More

we were informed that the place was recently sold, so we had to check out the new owners While the price for dining out side (picking up your own food) is still a bit much. The quality of the food is simply outstanding. The clams cooked three ways was delicious. The shrimp sanwitch very tasty as always, and the lobster... More

Last year we were so impressed with the fried shrimp sandwich special we had out on Red’s outdoor deck that we decided to start this year out the same way. So after an hour on the board walk we went to Red’s and ordered our sandwiches. The sandwich consists of 3 jumbo shrimp that are butterflied, lightly breaded and fried,... More

We asked around for a good seafood restaurant and were told Reds. So today, on the way to the beach we stopped for a late lunch. Small cute Restaurant 12 tables well arranged. Promptly welcomed and seated by the window and shown the specials for the day. I started with raw bar choices - scallops on the half shell and... More

This place is a seafood lovers nirvana, smack in the middle of the Jersey Shore. It can be tough to get a table but its worth the wait. It is family run, Red's wife and daughter run the place while he fishes. You have two choices of seating, inside which is a small shore bungalo converted to a restaurant with... More
