My wife and I took a ride down to Point Pleasant Beach on a late summer Sunday afternoon and found this great little place for a fantastic seafood dinner. The food was great and very reasonably priced. Excellent service too.

Fantastic food and great value for your money. It is small and doesn't look like much but wow is it worth it

Happily, it was a gorgeous night & we had a great family group waiting outside for 1.5 hours for a table! The salmon & tomatoes with balsamic glaze were delicious! The Francese sauce on the snapper was way too rich for my taste; lightening it up would be great! Overall, we enjoyed the experience; my husband ate the leftover snapper... More

Spikes has been around a long time. If you love seafood, this is the place for you. The options are many but be prepared to wait. It's tiny! Yes, it's a bit of a dive but again, the seafood is great. The lobster bisque is thick and delicious. Only get this as an appetizer if you have plenty of room... More

We went with friends to this little seafood shack last night. The food was excellent. The owner made us feel like we were his old friends immediately. The seafood over linguini was excellent. The chowder were perfect. Next time I'm in Point Pleasant I will definitely return.

A real Jersey Shore restaurant with the freshest food and good service. Casual dress and totally good seafood ... has a sea food market attached where the take out is as good as the cooked.

This little hole in the wall is great. You can stop in after a day at the beach, all sandy and sweaty and you fit right in. Order the Lobster Bisque....get the bowl because you'll regret it if you only order the mug! I was there two weekends in a row and the first weekend we got the Lobster Bisque... More

Love it! It is a bit pricey, but the food is fantastic. BYOB makes it a fun place to hang out and get your hands dirty cracking into shellfish. Awesome!

It's not the same as once before. Fresh seafood but to pricey for what you get. N they need to clean the place up. Sorry spike not the same.

We loved it here. The restaurant is nothing fancy but the food is excellent, staff friendly and the price was great. I've never had fresher seafood!
