We live close so we frequent these types of place. Upon arrival we were greeted with a very hospitable greeting. We were sat quickly (don't expect that in the summer) and food came out quickly. I had the mini crab cakes app with cajun broiled seafood platter which was very good. There was enough food for me and pricing was... More

We dine here everytime we are in Point Pleasant for at least 20 years. This is the place to go for seafood - fresh, great sides, always good, great staff. Now I have to try the Lobster Bisque. We travel from Seaside Park to Pt Pleasant for a bowl of soup. Also having the Lobster Roll. I'm in heaven. Thanks Tim for suggesting it again.

We love going to Spikes! It always has good quality seafood and the best lobster bisque. When we travel to this area we always make a point to go. It is a very basic seaside restaurant ( not fancy at all) but OMG, great food! You can also order fresh fish to go and cook it at home. We highly... More

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but this combo fish market and restaurant does offer really fresh seafood. It;s right on the inlet with commercial fishing boats all docked within a few feet. This is a popular place for the locals where you can bring your own liquor. There were several unique specials. The food was very good and... More

I had lobster bisque soup and a lobster roll; I was not overwhelmed with either. The lobster bisque was pinkish but there were no chunks of lobster in it at all. I was told the lobster was pureed; that may be true but, to me it really wasn't lobster bisque! The lobster roll was served on what appeared to be... More

It doesn't matter if you eat it at Spikes or take it with you. If you are looking for the freshest seafood in Point Pleasant, look no further. This place is the best. GREAT seafood. The selection is good and the prices are fair. Don't wear your tux to this place.

Really like this place. Haven't eaten in the very informal fish counter/restaurant but did pick up some fresh scallops as well as some New England clam chowder. Both were excellent choices. I hear the lobster roll is really good - will try that next time. Helpful, happy staff. You won't go wrong!

I was told that I had to try the lobster roll here so I stopped in the last time I was in Point Pleasant. I had my dog and the guy behind the counter graciously came outside to take my order and bring me my food. The lobster roll was quite delicious! Lots of meat and butter to drizzle on... More
