Just wonderful, from the lobster buisqe to the apple pie, my only regret is that I didn't have it warmed!

Place needs a good scrub down, don't understand why people go here. Stopped in for lunch, ended up just grabbing a small container of lobster bisque to go as it smelled so musty and moldy I couldn't see being there for a full hour. Bisque was just ok, won't be back in this lifetime.

The lobster bisque is to die for. We had to have it every time we visited. Lobster fantastic, scallops the sweetest freshest we ever tasted. No fried food hooray. You cant book, you have to wait, its very popular, very ordinary place with fabulous food and friendly staff and very reasonably priced since it is on the main road into... More

This is one of my favorite stops at the shore. Fresh seafood prepared to your liking with great pasta and sauces. arrive early for dinner, because anyone in the know coming off the beach will be stopping here.

Whether your getting the soup & half sandwich or the lobster roll (two of my favorites) you can't go wrong in this hole in the wall place. Nothing fancy, just fine (very good) seafood. Open all year and our favorite time to go is during the winter months when it's less crowded. It doesn't matter if it's lunch or dinner,... More

We've been going here for years. Usually off season to avoid the crowds. Went for lunch recently twice. Always we order the red stuff, Manhattan Clam Chowder. Inconsistent lately. It's been better. Will go again in future as our daughter lives nearby. Hope they improve it is very convenient.

First time here for lunch. My husband and I both had lunch specials. both portions were very small. Soft shell crab was on the edge of not being soft anymore. my stuffed shrimp scampi had 3(!!) medium sized shrimp. stuffing was bready and not that crabby. based on this meal --would not hurry back as it was overpriced for what... When you walk in, you will see the fish available in the display and then the recommendations for the day. I personally had a simple dish that was tasty and just what I wanted at the time. Neither wine nor beer are sold, but you can bring your own. This restaurant has been there as long as I can remember... More

Always talked about, Spike's was a bit disappointing as we found it average at best. Chowder was good but not great. Steamers were good but the mini crab cakes were inferior. Crowded and smelled "musty".

We've been here a few times and the food is always good. The last time we went the owner suggested that my wife have the thresher shark steak and it was great. It's a comfortable place and a BYOB, which is nice.
