Great Diner

It's a typical Jersey diner. There's not many in point pleasant and whenever we visit my husband and I get in a fight but I don't think that's because of the food. Slow service but food is good and coffee is strong.

My two sons, age 2 and 4, and I just walked out of this establishment. We were quietly seated in a small side booth in the main dining area, and we had a polite server who while taking our order commented about how sweet and well behaved my sons were. Rather than plopping iPads and iPhones in front of my... More

Great place for breakfast. The food is fresh n home made. Good place off the beaten path. Little pricey but really good quality. Never had dinner there but will give them a try if they invite us to their " tree house" even if it's to take it down.

We just visited here and were not surprised to see nothing had changed! The food is as good as ever. The service was so friendly and the atmosphere is like home.

John & Elaine's is hidden at the end of a strip mall and can be easily overlooked. If you do, you'd be missing out! Generous portions, great prices and cozy atmosphere. You can even BYOB. Be sure to try the 'John salad' with your entry!

The food was good here. I did give a lower rating just because they do not take credit. However you can use the atm for an additional $2.00.

We ate at John and Elaine's this past weekend and thought the food was great! Homefries were especially delicious, as were omelets and pancakes. Portions were not enormous for us, as some reviewers said. As it was a busy Sunday morning, we didn't hold it against our waitress that we didn't see her as often as we needed. Prices are... More
