First of all, Carlucci's Grill is in West Windsor (also known as Princeton Junction) NOT Plainsboro, so make sure you put in the correct town when trying to find it. It is located in the same shopping mall as McCaffrey's supermarket, and is in the far corner of the "L"-shaped mall. Is it the best Italian food I have ever... More

Located in a strip mall. Impressive front. But diner inside with a stone pizza ovan. The place was non-stop packed with a line out the door when we left. The staff is international. Make sure they understand what you order because they insist they get it right. The food was fast, hot, reasonably well presented and plentiful. High on the... More

We went for dinner. It is a BYOB . The puffy bread with garlic was good. The seafood appetizers was good. The waiter up sold us on the quantity. The soup was cold. I ordered Tilapia over pasta. It is probably one of the most tasteless item I've ever had at an Italian restaurant. I wouldn't go back again.

Food is great, free puffy bread! Great place to go for lunch or dinner, families, couples, anything. Love the chicken Parmesan.

Been to Carlucci's in Plainsboro 2 times in the past 2 months both times with friends plus several other times over the past 3 years. Service was efficient, friendly and wait staff knowledgable about the menu. Food is very good, traditional dishes with generous portions. The linguine with white clam sauce is excellent. They give you this huge puffy garlic... More

We have been going here since it opened, but it just is wonderful every time. We've taken family members who are visiting and everyone always thinks everything is great. You can dine inside or out and the service is always very attentive, friendly, and casually professional. All of the dishes are large and we often order numerous appetizers, salads, and mains... I wrote a positive review previously, but service has gone down hill. Our waitress was inexperienced, showing a lack of training, but she tried. It took almost an hour to get the food to our table! Several tines we were told, "it's coming." As we were leaving, I asked to speak to the manager in order to complain. "I'm sorry"... More

First of all, it's in West Windsor, not Plainsboro. Every other restaurant in NJ is an Italian place. Most are overpriced and annoying. Carlucci's is not exceptional food-wise, but it's good, maybe a little expensive for what you get but not dramatically so. The service is excellent more often than not. The outdoor seating is pretty nicely done (for a... More
