Never a Bad Meal!

We have been going to Carlucci's since it opened. We especially like to order out. My husband is glutten free and they now have a glutten free menu. They also just redid their menu. I had the chicken salad on mixed greens with cranberries. It was very good. My husband likes the pasta... read more

Carlucci's is consistently good. It is never great and never awful. You can always expect a decent meal.

Carlucci's has an extensive menu that suited the meat lover's and vegetarians in our party. The complimentary appetizers are a bonus. One person's sandwich bread was soggy (a chicken parmesan sandwich) but everything else was great--veal, crab cakes, pizza, and pasta. On a weekday it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Water glasses and ice tea was refilled... More

Lots of choices, good food, generally good service. Crowded on weekends and the wait is far too long, and it's a little overpriced - $21 for 50 cents worth of pasta and a couple of shrimp - but that's dining out these days.

Much to my surprise I was able to get a last minute mother's day reservation. When we arrived we found out why: Carlucci's had a "special" mother's day menu with surprise surprise special prices: fifty to one hundred per cent their regular meal prices. Worse, the menu was "limited" with no vegetarian meals on the menu to speak of. For... More

We've dined here since the restaurant opened in the shopping center, and the food, service, and pleasant decor remain consistently fine. It's a family-owned business, and the management is always in touch with the original values. So you never have to worry about what you'll find here. Both lunch and dinner are outstanding, and the prices are extremely reasonable. You... More

This is part of a small chain. it features an Informal sit down meal with waiter service. The decor is nice but not elaborate. There is outdoor dining, weather permitting. The menu is basically Italian comfort food, with a few salads and sandwiches added. Prices are competitive and food is reliably good, but not gourmet. The wait staff is friendly.... More

First of all, Carlucci's Grill is in West Windsor (also known as Princeton Junction) NOT Plainsboro, so make sure you put in the correct town when trying to find it. It is located in the same shopping mall as McCaffrey's supermarket, and is in the far corner of the "L"-shaped mall. Is it the best Italian food I have ever... More

Located in a strip mall. Impressive front. But diner inside with a stone pizza ovan. The place was non-stop packed with a line out the door when we left. The staff is international. Make sure they understand what you order because they insist they get it right. The food was fast, hot, reasonably well presented and plentiful. High on the... More

We went for dinner. It is a BYOB . The puffy bread with garlic was good. The seafood appetizers was good. The waiter up sold us on the quantity. The soup was cold. I ordered Tilapia over pasta. It is probably one of the most tasteless item I've ever had at an Italian restaurant. I wouldn't go back again.
