The inn is good but I think a little pricey for the meal. It's good but not great. I don't care for the atmosphere and it is very noisy.

My wife and I went to the Pittstown Inn to celebrate her birthday. Since Gary purchased the Inn, the food and service have improved from good to excellent. My wife led off with a cup of leak and corn soup - really good on a cold night, and I had their beat salad - something I order each time I... More

We decided last minute to dine at the Pittstown Inn last Saturday night, and we were not disappointed. We got a lovely table for 2 and enjoyed a fantastic dinner. It was a special night, so we selected dinners from the nightly specials menu. My wife had the lamb chops with roasted vegetables and potatoes, and I had the halibut... More

Yes, we were outside and it's was great. Pittstown Inn isn't new, but under new management. Food was good, but nothing exciting. Prices seemed high, but hey, we were in upper middle class Jersey suburbs. Waiter had difficulties with reasonably easy drinks, but all came out fine in the end. It's all about the history and location... for that, worth... More

So this place was always a destination the 8 years I have lived in Hunterdon...in 2013, it was purchased by Gary the current owner...I know him by name because he makes an effort to know his customers, which I appreciate...he has made several positive changes around food quality and staff. I always liked the atmophere so its all good with... More

On a recommendation of a friend, we came here for dinner. While the restaurant was busy, we were able to sit on the front porch on a comfortable summer evening. The menu was both imaginative and appealing. For our party of 6 we had as appetizers - chicken satay, fried calamari, tuna tartare and Jamaican jerk chicken Quesidalla. It was... More

We had a table for four on the front porch. The service throughout the evening was excellent. The fish special was as good as any fish dish I've ever had and the drinks were super. The only reason 4 stars and not 5?...my wife's ahi tuna was a little tough and really not that good. However as soon as the... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner experience! The food was delicious...cooked to perfection (and generous portions). The service was great and our waitress was so helpful and friendly. There was live music playing, but not too loud for us to carry on a conversation. Casual elegance is how I'd describe the interior...a nice improvement over what it had... More

We were hesitant to return to the Pittstown Inn after 3 disastrous visits in the past, but we decided to give it one last try after hearing it was under new management. We’re absolutely delighted we did. Other than the location and name everything has changed for the better. The service was excellent (thank you Veejay) and the food was... More
