Average, could be better

This is my first time dining at Kiku for hibachi. I've dined in many hibachi restaurants such as Benihana's, etc. over the years and also Mount Fuji in Hillburn NY, so comparing them to Kiku in Paramus. The restaurant is huge, loads of Hibachi tables, but very dimly lit. But the service... read more

Whatever you do stay away from KIKU's in the corrado's mall. In all my yrs of eating sushi I've never had fish spines in my roll and I got 3 today! I almost choked! The quality of fish is also questionable- worst sushi experience!!!

Ordered some dinners to go. realizing fried does not travel well(and I do live less than a mile away) opted to order sushi and hibachi. waited ten minutes because there actually was a couple in the restaurant (I called in the order ,too). entrée hibachi steak had... I've been to a bunch of these hibachi places, where the chef usually does tricks, throws food at people, squirts Sake into adults mouths, and generally carries on like a fool. But this place wasn't so much fun.. And the food isn't that good. It's a nice LOOKING place .. But that's about it. Oh did I mention it's expensive

Kiku is a great place for a special occasion, or with a big group of people. Hibachi tables sit about 10, so bring a group with you to avoid sitting with strangers. A chef prepares your food right in front of you, with a great show. Kids love the rice ball "snow men" and trying to catch broccoli in their... More

Went her with some friends for dinner after a show. We were early for our reservation, but were seated promptly. Service was very quick and efficient. We all had the Hibachi Grill dinners. We shared, scallops, shrimp, steak and salmon. Food was pretty good, but thought it was absurd to pay $3.00 extra for fried rice (we didn't), desserts were... More

great baked goods, great bubble tea. I would have rated here but no place to do so. The staff is great and it's all family owned.

I have eaten at Kiku in Paramus many times over the years, but this December 31st, 2014 was the WORST SERVICE EVER! The lobby was so crowded you could not even check in. There were TONS of families, couples and elderly people waiting for at least two hours and there was no where else to go since it was New... More

What is the point of making a reservation. People with 5:30 reservations were still waiting to be seated at 6:45. The restaurant either don't care or dowsn't know what it is doing.
