Went to El Cid not knowing what to expect and what I got was good food and good sangria. The oysters were really good, I also had the spicy filet mignon medallions and they were superb. My party and I had a some fish and meat dishes. The service was very good and the decor was a little dated but... More

We've been here numerous times. Our favorite meal is the appetizer size beef tips. It comes to the table right in the sizzling frying pan. It's cooked with sliced hot cherry peppers. Order a side of rice and yum. The meat is always perfectly cooked. The chips are irresistible. You can't have just one. They're kind of like Homemade potato... More

I've been here numerous times over the years, and have never been disappointed. I've heard a few criticisms that it's big portions and the food isn't that good, or it's simply quantity over quality, and so on. In my opinion -- not true at all! The steak is not Peter Luger's. The lobster is not the Oceana, the Water Club,... More

If you know what to expect got in, El Cid will never disappoint. Expensive, big portions and good quality. Knowing how to order makes dining fun especially with a group of people. Because individual dinners are big, we chose to order a few of everything...spicy tips, salad, paella, chorizo and gambas...more than enough food and cooked perfectly. 7 people -... More

This restaurant came highly recommended so we decided to try it. The prime rib is huge but it's a bit bland unless you ask for the au jus and then it's perfect. Comes with yellow rice and fresh fried potato chips. The sangria was delicious. We also had the fresh oysters (which were very fresh) and clams casino which were... More

Let me first say I have been there numerous times the latest being last Saturday. I used to tout this place for it's consistency which is one of the most important things for a restaurant. Portions are still huge but having been a frequent patron, some are not as huge as they used to be. I am a creature of... More

Tonight was a good night at the restaurant. My brother and I came off a long day of work and needed a bar, some good drinks and some tasty food. This is just a ticket. A mixed drink, small picture of sangria, glass of red wine, and two main dishes hit the spot. The filet and spinach was awesome and... More

This isn’t going to be a nice review. I am afraid I am going to come off as a pretentious foodie (I am not), but here goes. Myself and 3 other people went in on a Saturday night to eat dinner. The place was packed so we needed to wait at the bar for 45 minutes to get a table.... More

The place is packed was invited to meet some friends for dinner so after more than an hour wait we finally got sat. The place is hot so if you are wearing a sweater have something underneath so you can take off the sweater or jacket. The service was ok since the place was so packed. The portions were Hugh...
