Always stop for ice cream

This is a must stop for ice cream. The flavors are abundant and the walk up window and old fashioned setting are a wonderful throw back.

I had a great dinner at Nagles. The price was fantastic and the food was delicious. It is a quaint cafe located close to all the Inns

Good luck with your venture. I left for California after the destruction of the North End Hotel in 1978. Previous to this, with the destruction, in 1974, of the classic Mayfair Theater along Wesley Lake, the destruction of Asbury Park had begun. Asbury Park is now a ghost town, and Ocean Grove remains a shadow of its former self. So... More

Best soft serve ice cream.... The kids who work there are friendly and cheery. Worth the wait in line plus you get to meet your neighbors!!!

I lived in Ocean Grove for years and this used to be a pharmacy for years. It had a small soda jerk that made soda shakes and egg creams. Now it a great place to eat but they kept all the look of the pharmacy. Its over a hundred years old easy so the history is great and the walls... More

Nagle's serves ice cream from a walk-up window, and has an old-fashioned indoor seating dining area. It's particularly useful as a good stand-by restaurant when visiting Ocean Grove in off-season (before Memorial Day, after Labor Day).

Stopped in for a bite to eat at lunch time on a rainy day. Very good soup and sandwiches. Friendly atmosphere, good food, friendly staff and incredibly reasonable prices.

Nothing better than an old-fashioned sundae with hot fudge - real hot fudge - and the best part is being a block from the beach or on a cold winter night, sitting on a stool at the counter - portions are generous, flavors are delicious, and the memories are priceless - it's a 'remember when' kind of place. It's also... More

Service erratic and inattentive. Food slow in coming not bad, but only fair. Go to Starving artist for better food and service.

So, wanted to take my girl to a real relic of a place. One that had history, an old fashioned counter and plenty of charm, which Nagles definitely has. Plenty of stuff on the menu. The food is served quick and is ok, really nothing to wow. I think what annoyed me this time around is that my girl wanted... More
