I had to try this place for the ice cream and the charm. As a medical professional, I love the historical significance of this type of place - a truly classic old fashioned pharmacy. The setting is awesome with really cool truly historic pieces in the restaurant. The menu was quite large. My friend and I were looking for a... More

Went here because of newspaper article for ice cream. The staff was rude , ice cream a melted mess when we got the first one. . We could not take it and asked for our money back which required another wait. Go to Days much better and friendly.

This is a renovated old pharmacy-soda fountain on a beautiful street filled with old shops, past rows of Victorian beach houses that lead up to the beach! it is an experience of stepping back in time and enjoying real old fashioned ice cream sundaes and sodas. Only complaint was that the kids (some)working there, although friendly and polite, enjoyed socializing... More

The food is delicious - with breakfast being the outstanding meal of the day! Huge portions, freshly prepared meals, a variety of choices and nice waitstaff make this beautifully decorated cafe wonderful. It is loaded with wonderful antiques reminding diners of the long history of this apothecary 's (drugstore cafe) place in Ocean grove.

We stopped here for a late lunch after spending time at the beach. My original plan was to go to Yvonne's. However after we tried to walk in the door at Yvonne's at about 3PM we were turned away rudely by a man who was placing a sign on the door an told us they were closed until 4. (I... More

Not fancy. Clean, great staff, affordable, good food. Famous for omlettes, but try the fruit platter, too.

I went with friends to get ice cream from the window on the street and was really disgusted at the garbage on the floor of where the servers were. The did not wash their hands or wipe down the dirty counters ever as I watched them serve at least 15 customers........ The was spilled ice cream drips on the counters... More

We tried Nagle's and kept going back to get our "linner" lunch/dinner to eat on the beach, everything was very good, fast and affordable, the place was very nice as well. I can't wait to go back next year! There is nothing like eating a nice hot pastrami Rueben sandwich while laying on the beach... Only a short one block... More

Good portions! Well prepared! A bit of a wait at times; but worth the wait! Go there as soon as you can! Ice cream is really good! And you can sit outdoors in front or on the side!

Even if you don't eat your scoops and fries inside the former drugstore, with 40s era counter service and vintage bottles and sepia images on every wall, the folks lining up for window service alongside Nagle's corner of the pseudo-Victorian Ocean Grove is more than happy to take in the street scene. A must do on any any night between... More
