We had lunch at The Starving Artist and the food was good, not great. The atmosphere was lovely though. It was a lovely day and we sat outside. We loved our waiter.

This restaurant is busy - but the service and food do not suffer. Friendly staff bring delicious food without a long wait! Food is suited to young children, teenagers and picky eaters!

Never dissatisfied with the food or service! Excellent atmosphere also. Have enjoyed both breakfast and lunch here; it's simply one of the best restaurants in Ocean Grove.

We ate breakfast at Starving Artist for the first time, after years of going to Day's for ice cream. They share the same covered outdoor space. On a summer Saturday, there was a bit of a wait, but the maître d' was accurate about how long we'd wait. Try to eat in the "outdoors" area. You are well-sheltered from sun... More

This restaurant is tucked away on a side street but once you discover it, you will keep going back! It is also part of Day's Ice Cream Shop. There is indoor and outdoor seating and in the summer there can be quite a wait! But the wait is worthwhile because the food is very good. There is something for everyone.... More

We have enjoyed the hospitality and delicious food at Starving Artist for many years. We are always welcomed warmly and seated promptly. The food is consistently wonderful--from the divine Avocado Chicken Salad to the traditional cheeseburger. And those onion rings! On our way there for another yummy lunch!

I would highly recommend coming here on a cooler summer day and sitting outside on the patio area. The food is decent, slightly better than average, and everyone can find something to order on their extensive menu. It is a great place to come for breakfast if you want a sit-down meal, as there are few options for breakfast in... More

This place is perfect for a small and quick lunch. My husband got one of their deli meat sandwiches and I got their salad special: Pear and Walnut Salad- both were delicious and were portioned decently. The price was fabulous, with tip we paid $26. We came around 2:00 and had a ten minute wait. The staff seemed overly busy... More
