I am not a big breakfast eater, just give me a danish and some milk and I am good to go. I make it a point to get breakfast here every time we spend a weekend in Ocean City. The food is delicious, service is friendly and the prices are good too! You will not be disappointed. You can eat... More

The Varisty Inn has been in Ocean City for many, many years and is a favorite for breakfast whenever I get to the beach here. Not much atmosphere but the service is friendly and quick and the food is always good!

The Varsity Inn has been a long time favorite of Ocean City New Jersey locals and visitors alike. I never bothered to go in there though because I thought it was just a burger joint. Well- let –me- tell- you!!! The Varsity Inn is currently recommended by the OCNJ librarians. They eat there once a week. The ladies had high... More

I have been going to this place for years. Always good food and good service. You can get the entire menu anytime of the day. Winter time usually very easy to get a table. Summer months (especially weekends) does get busy but if you go early you will never have a problem. Ocean City does not have many great restaurant... More

Had lunch there yesterday. The food was amazing. This was the first lunch we had there. We went back for breakfast today. The food was great as always. Love this place.

Soup & Sandwich: Baked New Jersey tomato soup with a BLT. The soup is their specialty; and with a sandwich, made a tasty inexpensive lunch. College pennants decorate the walls and rafters.

Working down the street we love this place for lunch, especially in the off season (October through May). Service is quick, staff is friendly and food is good. If it's your first time you have to get the tomato soup (or as we like to call it "pizza in a cup"). Good place for breakfast/lunch and best of all it... More

on a not so busy Sept morn-2 couples decided to try this place again--luke-warm not so fluffy omelets, no seperate cks and no English Mfn for toast-"we don't substitute!!!" No coffee service after first cup-no check-back after served food-just dropped off check. this had been a traditional stop when in OC-but won't be going back again anytime soon. Sorry, service... My wife and I like to walk the Ocean CIty Boardwalk and she made the suggestion that we stop at the Varsity Inn for breakfast (we always look for good breakfast food). I lived in this area my whole life and never even thought about the Varsity. Until two weeks ago. THe place is quaint and lively. THe seating hostess... More
