Want a good meal while on vacation? Make sure to make a reservation and enjoy some very good Italian food. Home cooking, nice atmosphere at a good price...not cheap by any means but won't break the bank either. Try the canolies...honestly, the best I have ever had. Only open seasonal. We went to this establishment tonight with another couple from our hometown. They made the reservations, we walked in and sat down due to they were waiting for us. My wife crab and spinach soup, she stated the soup was great. The salads were great, they were the right size for a dinner salad with your dinner. My wife had... More

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal two weeks ago. We were greated by the hostess and seated immediately. Our server was polite and gave great service. I had the crab spinach soup for a started which was a generous bowl with creamy satisfying lump crabs. I had for my entree veal parmigiana with spaghetti of which I had... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant today and it was awful. Our server made us feel like we didn't belong there. We both ordered the filet med-well. First of all, it took over 30 min to get it and when we finally did, it was raw and barely cooked. The server took it back and when it came out... More

A great dining pleasure. We just dined at Piro's this evening and could not wait to review it. There were ten of us and all of us enjoyed our old time Italian dinners from appetizers to desserts. We especially loved talking to Pat Piro, the owner of the restaurant, and hearing some of the old stories about the Wildwoods. It... More

Went there tonight usually go at least once a year. They had a special called Summer Sauté. The dish as described said rigatoni, sausage, chicken, roasted peppers, olive oil and garlic. The dish had no hints of garlic and excessive vinegar which was unexpected. My husband had the lasagne which was good. The service was ok. The bread and oil... More

Food was not bad, average, but way overpriced. Service was ok. Server was asked if a dish was made with white or red sauce. I wanted white, dish was red. Price on menu did not match price on check. Place tries to be "fine dining." Not even close.

We have been coming to this restaurant for several years. Great Italian food. Great service. I love the Shrimp Scampi and the oil that you dip your bread in. Highly recommend!

Went to this restaurant for "restaurant week" and was disappointed. Quantity of food is good, but preparation is just ordinary. Mussels in white sauce were bland and needed some sort of "kick up", salmon was also bland, dessert was terrible. The salad course was good.

We've made Piro's an annual tradition as it offers great Italian food options. We particularly look forward to the Soft Shell crab appetizer before our veal parmigiana dinner.
