Our group of 7 were in Newark for an event and stopped for late lunch. While the place was packed, we were quickly seated, and our boys had a great time watching the chefs work with the fresh seafood through a glass partition during the brief wait. We ordered cockles, garlic shrimp, paella and salmon, and enjoyed them family style.... More

A lovely Portuguese friend of mine suggested we try Seabra's Marisqueira, since I have been going to Ironbound , New Jersey for over 25 years for the finest in Portuguese cuisine. Just when you have thought you have had it all, stop, hammer time. Seabra's Marisqueira knocked our sox off. We were warned about a long wait but when we... More

I had pork and clams that came in a copper pot loaded up. The sauce was very tasty and light. Needed to bring half the order home and it was just as good the second day. My friend had a chicken dish that was overflowing the plate. VG service and the food was#1.

We really enjoyed our meal. We sat next to 2 couples that insisted that we sample their appetizers. Such nice people. The seafood was delicious and plentiful!

Went from NYC here for dinner, excellent seafood and excellent white wine. Absolute must have: pork chops with clams and roasted potatoes! Worth a visit definitely, delicious food!

Excellent seafood. I always try something different and i have never been disappointed. If you're adventurous, try something that the locals might order, like bacalao, beef tongue, or feijoada. Its all good.

If you love fresh seafood, this is the place. My second time here. The paella was SOOO good. (I took it home and ate it the next day). The hardest thing is chosing what to order. Think of this as family style dining to keep the prices down. Free parking across the street is a bonus (It's good policy to... More

What fantastic food! Even at 4:45 pm on a Sunday, the restaurant was almost full, and with so many languages being spoken, I felt like I was in another country. The Valencia paella with seafood, chicken and sausage was cooked to perfection, and one order was more than enough for 2 people. The red sangria was the ideal summer thirst... More
