The Best Chicken in Town

One of the best place to have great dinner, lunch without going broke. Try small cafe on the side were local eat, you will never find a better chicken and it will run you around $30.00 for two with wine and espresso. Can't beat it. ,

In advance of attending a New Years Eve wedding in Park Ridge, NJ, we drove to Seabra's Marisqueria on the night before the wedding with a party of eight (8). We arrived at 6:30 PM and were seated on one of several long tables located in the rear dinning area. After a several minute wait required to review their extensive... More

This is a great place if you want really great food and enormous portions. The halibut was the size of the place at so flavorful. I had the paella excellent. And the king crab legs amazing! The cockles in a light garlic sauce were just right. The wait staff is very attentive and the Sangria the best!!!

We ordered the platter for 2. Good fresh sea food. Flavorful and bold. The way they toast their bread is truly delicious. Highly recommend.

We are the kind of travelers that look for the place where the locals eat because they are the repeating customers, which means that the food is good, fresh and well-priced. Though charming, this restaurant’s neighborhood is hardly a touristy area, but it is safe and has wonderful nearby places to visit, shop and eat. One such place is Seabra’s... More

If you love seafood amd Portuguese cuisine then this is your place to go. From octupus salad, little neck clams to stuffed dungeons crab and fresh fish dishes as well as traditional Portuguese dishes. Fresh fish and seafood at a reasonable price. Decor is a bit dated but carries the older traditional vision of the hand painted tiles.

Loved our meal including some great options on a kids' menu. My son ordered filet of fish! We knew it would be a good place when it came highly recommended by our friends from Portugal.

We asked a local shop owner which restaurant he would recommend if you only have 1 day there and he said Seabra's. He was right. Food was plentiful, delicious and it was a very joyful place where people sat next to each other in long tables giving customers the opportunity to interact with strangers. Highly recommend it. Ferry St turned... More

Our group of 7 were in Newark for an event and stopped for late lunch. While the place was packed, we were quickly seated, and our boys had a great time watching the chefs work with the fresh seafood through a glass partition during the brief wait. We ordered cockles, garlic shrimp, paella and salmon, and enjoyed them family style.... More

A lovely Portuguese friend of mine suggested we try Seabra's Marisqueira, since I have been going to Ironbound , New Jersey for over 25 years for the finest in Portuguese cuisine. Just when you have thought you have had it all, stop, hammer time. Seabra's Marisqueira knocked our sox off. We were warned about a long wait but when we... More
