My kinda place

If you like high quality ingredients, or matéria-prima, then this is your place. We ordered the fried squid, in Seville style, the cold seafood platter (frutos de mar), and a few cod croquettes. The squid were prepared perfectly, with a light batter and a lovely tomato dipping sauce. The cold... read more

Four of us went to this restaurant because of reviews we saw. We got their early. The food was just good, for example the menu or the waiter should tell the customer that their squid is served with the tentacles. The white sangria was good. The Paella Valencia was just okay: the rice base was watery and the seafood, chicken... More

We always eat at Seabra when going shopping on Ferry Street. We drive from CT to eat there just because its so good. Food is authentically Portuguese and wait staff is courteous although on our last visit, our waiter wasn't very pleasant and seemed a bit shy. Overall, we always enjoy everything we eat and the portions are huge. Great... More

I've been here five times since "discovering" it a year ago. We sit at the huge bar, have a well-made cocktail, order and eat delicious food. Excellent, briny, fresh oysters. crisp greaseless fried calamari. Any seafood dish will be a winner... but the pork chops are a treat, too. A ttentive service, good prices. I'll be back, again!

Really pleasantly surprised at the quality of the seafood in this restaurant, although I should not have been as the Portuguese know their seafood! The best thing I ate here was their grilled octopus, with the octopus salad and garlic cockles a close second. Their bread is really delicious, dense and chewy. I would have liked it warmed up, but... More

Excellent food but really can you please make lunch portions? I was visiting the area for a funeral and had not had authentic seafood paella in so long...I was not disappointed. Better than the paella was the Mariscada in green sauce. Very flavorful very very good. Nice service... all good!

I am a regular at this restaurant and find their food and service as exceptional. Besides eating in their regular spacious dining room, I also enjoy having meals form their Bar Menu (in the bar area). The atmosphere at this restaurant is grand and the staff provides excellent service and food.

Try the "zapateira" as entree. Is a big crap open and stuffed with seafood, to enjoy with artisan bread home made. And no forget to try "Fruto de Mar" hot is amazing for 4. Come here really hungry

This place was a big disappointment. The only thing that was good was the sangria. Save your money and your time.

Stopped in after a pick up from the Penn Station. I am not of the ethnic decent as the food, but everyone loved the meal. Easy to park, Staff was friendly and attentive. You can see the seafood being prepared. Will return on future trips,
