Older Sister of Iberia Penninsla

Identical menu and prices in Iberia Penninsula, but the atmosphere here is old Europe. This was our first choice of places to eat. FREE Parking is a draw. The food is plentiful and delicious. Though the fireplace is "fake", we would go in on a winter day and request a seat by the fire. A place in... read more

Wow! I usually can peak at a menu and know what I want quickly...not the cast at Iberia's! Everything looked great! We started with Garlic Clams and Garlic Shrimp, not recommended if you are on a date. I had the Seafood Combo with Green Sauce which is a huge plate of lobster, shrimp, clams, mussels and scallops. That was excellent.... More

My husband & I arrived for lunch on Saturday @ 12:45 without reservations. A local friend suggested it to us. We are going to see Rush tonight at the Pru Center and knew if we wanted to do Spanish cuisine it would be best to do lunch, siesta and be fresh for the show. After scouring Trip Advisor for recs.,... More

IWalking in the Ironbound you cannot miss this large outdoor patio with umbrellas. Its really a bar with food. What I think happens is on nice days they close the indoors altogether but not sure on that. We sat under and umbrella and almost had a good experience. The fish was grilled and veggies steamed. All excellent. the service was... More

I came back to this place because it was good. This past weekend went to celebrate birthday and order paella and was bad, very watery, a very few shrimps and conches, overcooked lobster and also order skirt steak that was so so. Serradura for dessert not even close for a real serradura, very liquid. The only regular thing we order... More

If you want frozen food, a horrible customer service experience, and a rude manager then this is the restaurant to go to. I don't even write reviews on places but this place takes the cake. On Saturday I met with some friends and came to this restaurant. We sat down but we had to repeatedly, 3 or 4 times, to... More

This restaurant is the first Portuguese restaurant in Newark. And has,I feel, lost it's way. I have had meals there and didn't finish them. There are so many restaurants FAR superior then Iberia.Things change and this restaurant,I feel has lost it's way. There were even fly's on the wall were we were sitting.I pointed this out to the waiter and he just shrugged his... Waking into this place you get an immediate feeling of unease. A big group of young men staring at you with a very unfriendly looks, pretending and trying hard to make you feel like you are at a 5 star restaurant but it does not work. The server did not speak a word of English, brought me q bottle of... More

Have been there many times before, the food is well priced for the quality. Terriific seafood dishes and steaks in a warm portuguese decor, with professional service. The owner treated us to a delicious glass of port after our meal. Cannot count the times we have been there, and we have always enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Will return again.....

Food has gone downhill. Clams werent cleaned. Shrimp wasnt deveined. Prices do not justify the quality of food. Service was clumsy after our waiter spilled a beer on my wife. There are better places. Wont be back.
