The food is not strictly Portuguese they seem to be adapted or Americanized a bit, ie no Cod dishes, but Tiliapia. Seafood entrees were well executed and portions were large. Service is friendly and efficient and can provide recommendations. There is Street Parking, but crowded for Devils Games at the Rock. Good pre-Game sit down meal option.

Stopped in for dinner before a concert although it was a little crowded we were seated immediately, wait staff took our order for drinks and meal right away (seemed a little rushed perhaps because of the concert) Sangria was awesome, entrees were shrimp with saffron rice bountiful and done perfectly,Talapia and scollops were very good although the scollops were overcooked,... We've been going there for over twenty years, it's not as busy as it used to be and the décor is very dated but we know that. We go there for the food which is outstanding, I believe most of the team has been there since I first started going. While in school we would venture there and have the... More

Im rember that this place was, at least in the past, an awesome place for dinner. So, I was anxious to return to it after so many years. Parking was convieniently accros the street & empty when we arrived. The area made me somewhat uncomfortable, I must admit. We were a group of four & as such we were seated... More

We lived in Madrid for three years and felt the food in Spain was the best in Europe. Spain Restaurant came so close to the real thing and we were pleasantly surprised. One of us had the Spanish omelet (tortilla Espanol). It looked absolutely authentic. I started with the gazpacho. It was authentic and delicious. I even tore my bread... More

Great dishes from an extensive menu. The restaurant may be small but they make up for it with attentive service and portions that are sure to fill up the hungriest eater. Many times I've ordered food to go and have never been disappointed. Traditional dishes and a great variety that satisfies any patron.

I have been to this restaurant about 15 times over the course of the last 30 years but I have not been here for at least 5 years. When a group of us found ourselves close to Newark for the evening I was excited to go back. We were not disappointed. Eight of us had sangria and eight different entrees.... More

My husband had been to this restaurant last year after a Red Bulls game. He sat at the bar and shared a few apps with friends. He came home raving about the place…in hind sight, I think the alcohol consumption at the game may have clouded his view ;) We went this past Saturday night with our two girls. We... More

I just went to Spain for the second time. My wife and I had been once before with friends, and had a fantastic experience. Great food, huge portions, good variety on the menu, friendly service at the table and at the bar. So I went back, this time with business clients who are also friends. We availed ourselves of the...
