This restaurant is fantastic! The menu is pricy but its worth it. All the food was fresh & excellent. For appetizers we had garlic shrimp & stuffed mushrooms, both great. I had the 22 oz lobster tail special served with rice & chips. My husband had the filet mingon wrapped in pork, cooked exactly the way he wanted. Both white... More

We had a reservation for 7:30 for 5 people. When 4 of us arrived, the 5th person called us to cancel. We were then told that we would have to wait another 1/2 hour for a square table for 4, 'cause the round tables were only for 5 people. After waiting an HOUR, we said either we got seated or... More

Restaurant is large, but service the few times we have dined there is excellent, from the moment you sit down. Portions are extremely large, so you always leave with leftovers. Excellent seafood and fish. Sometimes a wait on a Saturday, but worth it!

Dined with group of co-workers (6 total). Self parking in back, no charge was a plus. Service was awesome. Do come hungry. Portions are huge, even for a large man. Started out with staples of salad, olives, bread and sangria. Recommend splitting entrees; you'll still have leftovers. We tried the Black and Blue (36 oz strip), Seafood Paella, Wild Boar... More

We go here (1 hour drive from home) any time we have a birthday or special celebration. My family has been going to Forno's for something like 40 years - We even have an account here. Yes, there are other similar restaurants in Newark, but this is the #1. First thing you do when you get there (after ordering your... More

Dry food that was overcooked. Sent two of the four meals back. Very disappointing. Ordered a fifth meal for a child - chicken strips with french fries - she got hers last 65 minutes after order waspwasplaced.

Copious portions, excellent food. The shrimp in garlic sauce is superb and plentiful. Probably the best place in The Ironbound. We'd be there more frequently except that my waistline couldn't tolerate it!

This place is off the hook!! Excellent sea food if you love sea food. Fresh with outstanding Sangria or Red wine. I strongly recommend Pulpo al Ajillo "Octopus in garlic sauce" with Paella.. Is a killer.. Elegant environment, guys short pants not good in this place, excellent environment.

We have been many times at this restaurant , just with my husband and often with friends,(maybe 8 or 10) Nobody had anything bad to say about the food which is simply fantastic. Their Sangria is also very good. The service impeccable, friendly and professional We usually go after a performance at the NJPAC, because is located just a few... More
