This is where my husband proposed to me and we try and go here every year to celebrate our anniversary. I've never been disappointed. Last night i had filet mignon. It was cooked perfect! The potato chips however could have been cooked more because none of them were crispy. I also love the fact that you can dress fancy or... More

Reservations are not honored, we were there early and were seated 25 minutes after our reservation. You would think that a restaurant 4 blocks from the Prudential Center would train their staff to deal with large crowds before a show, but they didn't. They acted like it was so unusual for them to be so busy. They dropped the communal... More

This use to be the place for great Spanish food. Now their menu reads more like a diner. They need to get back to basics.

This is my second review of the same restaurant. I always order either the veal marsala or a paella when I visit Fornos. This time I wanted to try something different. I went with the veal osso bucco. Oh my God. The meat was so tender and delicious. Everything else about the meal was the same as usual - fantastic.... More

We have been going there for 20 years and it continues to be on of the best attractions in Newark's Ironbound area. The seafood paella is very good (and a large portion as well),as is the Shrimp in Green Sauce. Two members of the party y shared a 3 1/2 pound boiled lobster that they raved about. Other items are... PRICEY good food -- a bottled beer miller was 6.50 Food was excellent don't get me wrong but the prices are high u and Waiter had no personality. Lobster was phenomenally cooked. Spanish omelette was superb. Bartender great personality. won't go running back ONLY due to prices :(. Excellent atmosphere.

You get what you pay for. Sure its expensive, but its the best meal in Newark hands down. Sangria is fantanstic and strong. Every meal I have had here is great. Service is top notch. Great special day place. Wish I could afford to come more often.
