We visited this restaurant last night, because we had tickets to the Eagles concert at the Prudential Center. I have always wanted to visit a restaurant in Ironbound, and try some of the Portuguese or Spanish restaurants. I selected this place, based on the Trip Advisor reviews. We were extremely happy with our choice. First of all, as everyone else... More

The food was quite good, although beware that the portions are quite large. We ordered 3 dishes amongst 5 people and still had leftovers. The paella was good. Service could've been better though.

This is my go-to restaurant in Newark for traditional Spanish food - as evidenced by a short walk through the bar room full of Spanish/Portuguese people, on your way into the dining room. My wife and I and our grandson ate here before a Red Bulls game. At 4 PM on a Saturday they were busy. Wonderful service. Great soup and meals. Delicious Portuguese cuisine. Parking lot. Easy access to Red Bulls stadium. Definitely will go back before a NJPAC performance.

I've coming there for 20 years. The food is alway outstanding and the prices are great. The best sangria in my opinion. The service is always excellent.

I am fortunate to bounce in and out of New Jersey a few times each year. My first order of business is always food and Casa Vasca is always my Down Neck favorite. The Basque region of Spain has done us well. The best of the best according to me: Garlic Shrimp, Salt Cod, Stuffed Scallops w/ crab, Chippy Potatoes,... More
