I had not visited "Iberia" in quite a few years and returned for dinner earlier this month. I had “Casino Clams” and “Paella Marinera” both of which were great. There were three of us and in total we ordered three entrees and one appetizer with no alcoholic beverages and the check was under $70- which is great value! Great food,... More

Second visit in two weeks. Grreat standard fare. Hearty Portuguese food in a very nice setting. Drinks are inexpensive and the service was fine.

This is not what I will consider a "real portuguese" restaurant, instead I will classify the place as a "Ferry street tourist eatery" No bad but not the real thing.

My cousin had her wedding here. The venue was beautiful, small, and intimate. Very romantic setting. Food was amazing and the deserts were even better. The Sangria itself was to die for. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We chose Iberian Peninsula Restaurant because we were going to a 2pm performance at the NJPAC. Nico's was closed; we didn't know Tier 3 was serving; and Don Pepe didn't open until 1pm. The large wood doors as you enter the restaurant are impressive. The hostess was not. Although the restaurant just opened, she would not give us a table... More

My first time in the Ironbound section of Newark, we only went to Iberia because my first choice (which I now realize would have been somewhat disastrous) was packed with people on a Sunday night. But this quiet, unassuming restaurant on Ferry Street showed that Iberia should have been my first choice all along. Starting with appetizers, I knew we... More

My girlfriend and I had dinner at Iberia Resturant in Newark NJ. It was nice and quiet and not to many people there. We ordered a Sangria and it was good. My girlfriend Angel had the roasted duck with orange sauce with the vegetables and chips that come with the meal. I ordered the lamb chops in which I had... More

There are several portuguese resturants in Newark. This was the first time I have ever been disappointed. The food was less than average. The service was poor. I enjoyed the free parking but I would have perferred high quality food and better service. Stay away for the suffered lobster. It's really not that great. The stuffing is bead with no... More
