Food was great

The mussels in red sauce and fried calamares were a good choice for appetizers. The Mahi-Mahi fish and grilled prawns is really good for 2 persons. The seafood paella as common dish for our group was overflowing with shell seafood, including lobsters, and alos like made for a nice table... read more

Big menu, but when I saw that they had table-side meat carving, I was hooked !!! The wait staff was outstandingly helpful and handsome !!! All of the waiters brought us food, filled our glasses, answered our questions and bussed our table. Reasonable price for all-the-fillet wrapped-in-bacon you could eat !!!

I 've eaten in Newark most of my life at Portuguese and Spanish restaurants. This Place is bye far one of the worst eatries in Newark. It's not the atmosphere nor The service . It's the cuisine, tasteless. I guess if you would try something , you Can't go wrong with the lobster , I think? My wife and are... More

Already from the outside you think this is a nice place, cutely decorated like a Piazza in a village in Portugal, including the flags on the ceiling etc. But then it went downwards from there. The Maitre D' showed quite a bit of attitude, not welcoming, no smiles (not sure if he was impersonating Spanish machismo, in which case, ok...).... More

Was great to sit outside for a meal on a nice summer day, but the food just lacked taste. The sangria was watered down and had i small piece of orange for a pitcher. The paella was taste less and bland. The seafood platter also lacked taste. I can not understand why this place is busy. Has good atmosphere, but... More

I first visited this restaurant over 30 years ago and it has never disappointed me. This time I was with 2 friends for dinner but I have been there many times over the years for both lunch and dinner. The waiter looked familiar and he also recognized me. He had been a young man when I first met him there... More

Good Food, big portions, good drinks! Loved it. We had a bunch of friends with no reservations and they graciously accommodated us on a Friday evening!

Filte mignon was like a cheap steak, shrimp were rubbery, etc. I was so excited to take my kids to the Ironbound for an authentic quality meal. The decor was interesting. The wait staff were fine. But overall, I spent $65 for two of the specials and felt it was worth half that.
