I haven't had good experiences with airport seafood but Phillips was the exception. Had the crab and shrimp roll for about $10 which had plenty of real, not imitation crab and shrimp. Service was great. I'll be back when I'm in Newark again.

Due to a flight delay, I needed to find a comfortable spot to relax and refresh with "real" food. This location got my attention and "Jasime" was quick to point out a power outlet for my laptop in various locations. Grabbing a seat with a outlet and getting good food? YES!.Too late for breakfast and too early for lunch, I... More

If you have been on this airport at this terminal, you will know that you don't have that many choices. It is situated in a section that looks and feel clean! ( as you know the whole terminal looks filthy). The lobster roll was great. Consistent with the other Phillips at other airports. The salad was great and the waggle... More

Was told a 16oz beer was large, then was given a 22 oz when asked for a 16oz. Bar tender implied that we were getting the 22oz for the price of 16oz. Nope! Got charged for the price of 22oz. When confronted, the bar tender said we ordered the large. grrrr I hate it when I trust!

As we had some time before our flight left we decided to have lunch. Fish was hot, fries warm at best. My wife asked for coffee, it was cool and it tool twenty minutes for a hot coffee to be found. Worst of all $3.99 for a lemonade and NO REFILLS!

Having practically grown up in Ocean City Maryland and having been to the original Phillips on Philadelphia Ave more times than I can count through the years, I was delighted to see a Phillips outpost at Newark Liberty recently. Waiting a couple hours for a layover suddenly had a benefit. Being right near our gate was a bonus. In short,... More

If you see a Phillips Crab House you must stop to eat. The food is great and I had the crab and shrimp sandwich with steamed vegetables. Keep in mind you can't compare this food to a real sea food restaurant on the shore. But it is the best airport food I have had.

Not one to recommend eating seafood at an airport, but this place actually serves good seafood. I highly recommend the lobster bisque.

Poor food quality, poor service. You are better off going to a vending machine and sitting in the terminal.
