A Landmark!

By far some of the best food in the metropolitan area. The corned beef and pastrami are indeed a cut above..and the service is excellent!

The best hot pastrami sandwich I have ever eaten. Did I mention the pickles? I love a good garlic pickle, they also have fresh pickles and pickled tomatoes, at no charge, there is a bowl of them on every table. This is a long time family owned Deli. They have it all, however, I have trouble trying anything else as... More

Great, Classic Jewish Deli! Love their pastrami, corned beef and tongue. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

When you walk in, you are greeted like family. The staff was super friendly and fun to talk to. Everything food-wise is made with love and is top-notch. I had the split pea soup (trust me, get the croutons on top) and my wife had the matzo-ball soup. Both were excellent! Then came the sandwiches. Pastrami for me, corned beef... More

Great deli . . . . . I used to work for a company that was in the area . . . . . for 30+ years. Hobby's was always our first choice for food for in-house meetings. . . . . . . and i"d lunch at the restaurant a few times a month. I had not been to... More

The fresh interior and friendly smiling staff will start your visit to this bistro and you can see on all tables bowl full of pickled green tomato and cucamber. We slowly savor excellent sandwich and we have tried "Mushroom Barley Soup"... GREAT. And after our dinner Devils won, it was a happy evening !!! Bistro se skvělou atmosférou, přátelským personálem... More

The pastrami melts in your mouth, better than Katz's and Kosher Nosh. The hot dogs are the best!! The ruebens are amazing. Everything is first quality. And the owner is the nicest guy you could meet. Waitresses are all so friendly! Great experience right before Devils game.

Not worth the price ($15). medium size portion. Excellent service for dine in or take out. The SON is not friendly when criticism is made about the portion size sandwiches that are now SMALLER then when the Father was actively involved on a day to day basis. As being a Newarker, the size portion has changed over the years and... More

The food was very good. The waitress and owner/manager were very friendly. The prices were decent. I would go again if I am going to the Prudential Arena or NJPAC.

I enjoyed every bite! Meat Piled high, with a side of slaw, pickles on the table, and old style Family Resturant. A great kosher find. A can't miss!
