This gem I spotted while walking to my concourse. I actually walked all the way back because I was so intrigued. It seems small but is pretty expansive and ideal for anyone traveling alone or in a small group. Their seating is quick and service almost as quick. I enjoyed an arugula salad with goat cheese ($5!) and olives ($4)... More

If ordering an expensive glass of wine, ask to see the pour. The "Brunello" they brought to me did not taste like any other Brunello I've had and did not smell anything like the wine in the bottle they showed me. On top of this, the service was amazingly poor. It was the abysmal service that made me finally decide... More

On my way to my gate yesterday (Gate 84), I stomped upon this little wine bar/restaurant located on the left side of the terminal. The place opens from 9am-9pm every day except on Sunday 12pm-9pm I sat at the bar and the bartender Christian was absolutely great suggesting a few different wines as well as some great food options. I... More

We had a delay, in Newark Airport so was looking for somewhere to eat, and came across a wine bar, in the airport. We are all very big wine drinkers, so to come across this got us very excited, and it did not disappoint. It’s definitely pricey, but that’s expected, being in an airport. The selection of wine was great,... More

A long delay and snowy conditions meant that we were very happy to find this restaurant to relax in at Newark airport. The service was fast and friendly, the wine fortifying and the prosciutto and cheese sandwich delicious. Recommended if you want somewhere a little more sophisticated than the usual airport café. A slight drawback was the paucity of non-alcoholic... More

I ignore wether vinovolo work as a franchise, but the differences in quality between airports is huge. Newark among the worst. Service was OK but quality of food was terrible. Not worth coming at all, their prices signal great food, but I am sure the deli close by would not screw up a simple lettuce salad like this guys do.... More

I definitely appreciate the fact that Vino Volo offers a step up in food quality and wine selection over typical airport food. But improved food (including of course some sort of "wine bar") is starting to be de rigueur at most larger airports around the world. So the bar is being set a bit higher now. Given that, the food... More

This is the second Vino Volo I have tried. The other was at JFK. I enjoy the quality & variety of wine choices along with healthy and interesting food accompaniments. It is a welcome alternative to the boring choices available at airports, which are grossly over priced and usually dismally unhealthy. Vino Volo offers good value - not cheap but... More

I wish my little home town had a Vino Volo. This is (especially by airport standards) a very nice place. Decent prices for decent wine, delicious snacks (also reasonable priced), excellent service (unlike what some others have experienced) and really good, creative music piped in. Compared to most of what you'd find for stopovers in airports, I'd call this place... More

We had a long lay over so I wanted to make sure we had a good place to go. For airport food it was great but unfortunately the wait staff were somewhat rude and very slow. The bar was only half full when we arrived and they seams overworked already. As it filled up the service got slower and some... More
