The food was delicious! I had the vegetarian combo plate and my husband had shrimp tibs, we both ate every bit of our meals. The seasoning was perfect for both dishes. Our server was attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the Devore and atmosphere as well. We'll definitely return!

Despite the "we'll get to you when we like" service, we keep going back because the food is so unique and delicious. The sampler platters (meat or fish) are enormous and one is more than enough for two. Wear something you're ready to take to the dry cleaners because your clothes will retain the Makeda odor.

Never had Ethiopian food before! But went here once I can't say it met or didn't meet my expectations since I've never had that type of food before but it was pleasing to my pallet and I was not disappointed so for that I give a 5*

Nice atmosphere, good service, decent wine selection and great food. Recommend trying one of platters for two. They have a meat and a seafood which will allow you to become familiar with their food quicker in a visit or two. Some of the dishes are a little spicy but equally full of flavor so it's not just heat...

Poor food, what is served is not what is described and ordered. The dishes are very expensive and. It worth what you pay by any measure of quality.

I have very little to compare this eatery to but I can say that the food was delicious. The two of us shared a D'jaj Bi Zitoune appetizer and then went for the meat sampler for dinner. The appetizer was delicious, especially if you like green olives. It was a bit salty but still great. The meat sampler was awesome.... More

I ate here on a whim. The restaurant was busy which slowed the service, but the staff hustled to make up for it. The food was outstanding! Highly recommended.

The items listed on the menu are not what you are being served. The South African Haddock and Cape Hadie fish... Simply a whitting fish (frozen as well). Anything from the beef section of the menu (Prime rib, Filet Mignon, Tenderloin etc) is literally the same cut of beef and it is whatever the cheapest cut available that day at... More

Their lunch special is amazing for such a place that offers authentic Ethiopian food--however, it's quite sad to see the portions have been cut down drastically, and every time I ask for a certain type of wine to be paired with my entree, they always seem to be out. Ambiance is great and a fun spot as you're to eat... More

staff goes out of their way to please... just had 12 people there for an event and it went great. fav dish is shrimp wat. great unusual flavors and worth a trip. some people get freaked out by the spongy bread style of eating but think of it as a stew dumped on a plate instead of a bowl -... More
