Great bubble tea - food is ok

I love this hip place. Its very small and aims to please a student crowd. Food is ok, can be better if they improve the soups. Don't be discouraged about the ambience and try the crispy California noodles with beef. Also, their bubble tea is THE BEST.

I got takeout from here back in Sept and I have to say that the flavor was nothing special at all. The egg roll was mediocre and the beef with mixed vegetables was kind of bland. The bubble tea was decent, but not something I would get again from here. The delivery was prompt though and the price wasn't too... More

We have been going to Noodle Gourment for more than 20 years on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Being a creature of habit I used to order the Gourmet chow Mei Fun all the time and, with very few exceptions, enjoyed it every time. Then, maybe 10-12 years ago I started ordering the Hunan Triple Crown and that has been... More

Not the greatest looking place but the food was excellent. You order at the counter and then your food is delivered to the table you choose.

Food was good as always. This is a popular spot in New Brunswick as it is close to Rutgers Campus and open late. Portions are generous. I would recommend the Beef Chow Fun and the Seafood Pan Fried Noodle. I usually pick up Bubble Tea, as well. In fact, this may be the best place to get Bubble Tea in... More

Ordered chicken with pork fried rice. The chicken was terrible quality; chewy, dark, and each piece was composed primarily of greasy, overly-sauced batter. The rice smelled and tasted stale and old, and the "pork" looked more like an oddly pigmented mystery meat. The food was inedible. I could not even finish a third. Avoid this place like the plague unless... More

This was the most disgusting Chinese food ever. It was expensive and it tasted like pure garbage. My boyfriend ordered chicken with pork fried rice. The chicken was chewy and the rice was not fried. It was white rice with soy sauce!i ordered sweet&sour chicken and 90percen of the pieces had black meat and they looked like tiny popcorn chicken... More

We stop here when we are in New Brunswick. It is cheap, fast and tasty. I like the udon noodle dishes especially. The bubble teas are outstanding, be sure to get one- the mango is especially good. Parking can be hard to get on the street. The interior is very simple, which is fine with me.

This is your typical cheap, poor-quality American Chinese restaurant. Everything is swimming in sauce, the food has no flavor, and the portions are HUGE. This explains why this place is a college student's dream: two dinner's worth of food for under $10. If you are looking for delicious Chinese, you've come to the wrong place. On the bright side, the... More

The food here is rather decent typical Chinese food. It's a bit more authentic than americanized chinese food. It's the bubble tea that they have that makes me keep coming back though. The flavors and different drinks are great, and it's my favorite place in the area for bubble tea. It's a very casual place, with most people getting bubble... More
