While attending Rutgers reunion we had a fine dinner at the Harvest Moon Brewery. It had a lively campus atmosphere and served an excellent variety of house brewed beers. The burgers we had for dinner were also well prepared.

Nice place. Food was good and reasonably priced and the beer was very good. Many times, we find restaurants like this too loud for comfortable conversation. This was not the case at Harvest Moon. We would definitely go again if we are in the area.

Some of the house-brewed beers were not available. The food was very good for a microbrewery - really enjoyed the appetizers. Must try the calamari and also beet hummus. Service was spotty and they seemed in quite a hurry to get rid of our large party that had a planned reservation.

Stopped by for a cocktail before going to the state theater. Was seated upstairs. Winding wood staircase. Very charming. Service was very good as well as the prices.

The beer is good, the food is very good and the service is great. Our waiter was one of the best I have ever had. Absolutely perfect and paid attention to every detail.

Over the years I've never been a fan of this place and as of today, some things never changed. There was a race in Johnson Park today and there was a discount set up with the restaurant for beers. Several of us came over for lunch. There was some issue about taking a table if we were from the race,... More

I do not know why they gave Brewery name to their restaurant because that's not the case at all. I didn't like the beers that I have to get bottled beer, but they don't have big selection. The food was just average bar food. So if you think of dinner this is not the place. Could be good for a... More

I am always excited to find a microbrewery. Since leaving Denver I now realize that most states doen't have one on every street so finding one is a nice treat. I really wanted to have some great brew and some pub food. The food wasn't bad. We tried a couple of appetizers (hummus, kale and chickpeas and wings) and they... More

The Harvest Moon shines. You'll be pleasantly surprised by all. The home brews, Jimmy D Red especially are worth the travel, alone.

I became obsessed with the concept of gastropubs during my time in Europe and had heard that Harvest Moon was similarly done. I've been here a few times and each time I've been so impressed with the food as well as the ever-changing beer selection. The last time I went, Rutgers was playing Arkansas so there were many alums/students with... More
