The Frog and The Peach, located in downtown New Brunswick, NJ is one of the Garden State’s premier dining venues, recently named NJ’s best “All Around” restaurant for “its impressive New American cuisine” and rated fourth most popular restaurant in the state by Zagat Survey. Whether seated in one of the warm and inviting alcoves of this stylish, swank restaurant set on two levels, in the newly renovated outdoor Garden, or in the inviting bar area, diners will enjoy Chef/Proprietor Bruce Lefebvre’s modern American menu with a seductive international spin. Try signature selections like the Tuna Sashimi with cucumber salad and lemongrass broth, Black Truffle Gnocchi with almond basil pesto or Tea Cured Duck Breast with a jasmine rice cake, pea greens, shiitake mushrooms and smoked duck jus. The award winning wine list offers 400 selections carefully chosen by wine director Jim Mullen.

I post reviews here as a booster. People work hard. People sacrifice. As people that breath life into restaurants, owners and staff run a business, they worry, they put the time and sweat equity in and they care about your customers. The good restaurants do. You patronize that place? You work hard too, only instead, you work to earn the... More

This is my husband's and my FAVORITE restaurant! For his birthday, I wanted to do something special, so I called to ask if they would be able to print menus that didn't have prices on them so that he wouldn't be thinking about the cost for his birthday. I spoke to Mary, one of the hostesses and she was incredibly... More

I visited the Frog and Peach again last Sunday March 8. I must say I could hardly believe the dinner. First off, the bread was actually burned and they served it to us. That burnt taste doesn't leave your mouth for a while. I gave another try to their romaine salad. The leaves of the salad were not fresh, they... More

Quite possibly The Frog and The Peach used to used to live up to the hype associated with its name. Whether or not this is the case, I'm afraid I've never experienced noteworthy food or service at this restaurant. Servers don't spend time introducing guests to the menu, directing them instead to a printed insert describing the evening's specialties. On... More

Sorry to hear that you don't like the extensive remodeling of the restaurant that has taken place over the last several years. We spend a great amount of time and energy in not being complacent and strive to keep getting better. We will continue to work on all other aspects of The Frog too. Again sorry and we hope to... First let me say The Frog and the Peach is my favorite restaurant, my husband and I have been going here regularly for many years. Secondly however, things are changing a bit. My favorite Romaine salad is now a bath of Mayonnaise with lettuce in it. My warm delicious sourdough croutons have been done away with in favor of four... More

Sorry to hear about your recent disappointing experience. We did change the dressing on the salad to a creamy Late Harvest Riesling Vinaigrette. Perhaps it was too think and/or overdressed. I can assure you that the tomatoes were local San Marzano Tomatoes canned with the intention of bringing them out in the cold weather for a burst of Summer. It... More

My husband and I enjoyed our experience and I wish I could give 4.5 stars. First, our waiter Tod was outstanding. I loved the oysters with mignonette sauce served with a homemade hot sauce. The hot sauce was delicious, spicy, flavorful with just the right amount of heat but the oysters didn't need it. My husband loved the hangar steak... More

We just attended our second wine and food pairing dinner at this fantastic restaurant. Tremendous Italian wine with the vintner visiting from Italy speaking about the history of their 1,000 year old winery perfectly paired with dishes prepared by Chef Bruce! They have these dinners every other month I believe, please check their website to confirm, and the quality and... More
