Solid Option with Broad Menu and Decent Size Bar

We wound up going to Old Man Rafferty's since one of the guys I was on business with had been before. Their menu was super broad, pasta, BBQ, steaks, HUGE dessert menu. All of us were happy with our meals. We had an appetizer of wings and calamari which was decent. The wings were good and the... read more

I have enjoyed Old Man Rafferty's numerous times over the years and the food has never disappointed. I find it is a great place to go with a group as there is something for everyone. The quality and value is high and it remains our go to place when attending events at the State Theatre or other venues in New... More

All of the food and beverages are delicious and hudge :) But the best are the desserts, for sure! I really enjoyed my dinner a couple of times when I visited New Br. Very comfortable and nice restaurant. I will be back ;)

My wife came here and ate with another couple. We had several drinks and ordered food. My wife's crab cake sandwich was good. I ordered the mussel pot. They didn't clean the mussels and they were super gritty ... inedible. Nothing special here, I probably wouldn't return.

Pretty average food, burgers, fish, meat, nothing special. But fast service and friendly staff. Great for a non exciting quick meal.

Eat dessert first is their motto and they have lots of choices. But don't skip the meal as the food is terrific. The soups and sandwiches are great. Big servings, very fresh and tasty. Lots of choices from the bar too, in the way of specialty drinks and beer on tap. A fun place.

We took a group of nearly 40 people and the service was excellent. Only issue I experienced, I ordered the Sangria (9 ounce) and the carafe leaked. I notified the waiter and manager but no adjustment was made for the amount of sangria I was losing because of the leaky vessel. Food was great tasting and hot!

We decided to have our St. Patrick's meal at Old Man Rafferty's but made a mistake in sitting at a table. Quite frankly, most of the servers are younger college students earning some money while in school. They lack the experience and initiative to wait tables effectively, so service is iffy. The corned beef was outstanding. My wife enjoyed about... More

My mom has got me into Rafferty's she works near and raves about it. We went there several times over the past month and the food is very tasty, the menu has something for everyone. The atmosphere is welcoming, and I also enjoy the bar as well. They have homemade dips as well, we are always getting them for family... More
