The Holy Grail of Burgers?

According to many NJ magazines & newspapers, Stage Left's burger is rated among the top 3 in New Jersey.... I would tend to agree! Priced at $16, it was cooked to perfection and served with three year old Vermont cheddar (cheese only included if you asked if you requested it). The sidewalk seating... read more

We were 8 people and 7 meals were good, the lamb chops were tough and chewy All in all it was very good but not worth the price

We had a gift certificate, and didn't expect the "hi-brow" type of restaurant. Everything is al a carte. Very pricey! Food is ok. We got wild boar chop that was really small, but tasty. Also got gnocchi that was just ok. The spices really overwhelmed the meal. It was over all good.

This is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in New Jersey. First of all it was freezing inside so much so that I had to walk back to my car -- a fair distance -- to get jackets. Everything -- except the mediocre burger was was over-priced. The waitress spoke in a flat monotone as she recited the... More

Still the best meal in New Brunswick. Beautiful atmosphere, attentive and professional wait staff. Our scallop and corn appetizer was cooked perfectly and an amazing taste combination. The duck breast with blackberry, and rack of lamb entrees were equally delicious. Somehow found room for the banana split dessert, served in a salt bowl, which created a wonderful taste combination. Can't... More

Excellent food while seated outside on a wonderful summer night. Everyone was polite and aimed to meet our needs. I recommend it for an excellent meal.

After one of our best ever NJ meals last night at co-owned Catherine Lombardi upstairs, our curiosity took control and we dined here. It was the equal, smaller but still full menu with with a little more diversity, both 3-Star quality in all respects Food, Decor and Service. The $69 bone-in filet, BBQ Pork Belly and other innovative dishes were... More

I had heard that Stage Left was voted as having one of the best burgers in NJ, so I had to check it out. The atmosphere was lovely - we chose to sit outside, which is great for people watching. We didn't seem to have a server, as there were a few people who came to give water, give bread,... More

We had our sons graduation party here for 14 people. Firstly, the service was awful. It took forever to get each of our courses. It was taking so long between courses I asked the server to just bring ice cream for dessert and we were in a rush. We had two young grandsons with us. Even with this understanding it... More
