Above Average Steakhouse in New Brunswick

The steaks are excellent as well as the side dishes and appetizers. The waiter gave an excellent overview of all the different cuts and aging, etc. I had the scalloped potatoes and the brussels sprouts. The service was very good. Other then beef there aren't many other choices on the menu, but it is called a "Steakhouse" after all.

This was our third time at this restaurant and each time was wonderful. This time we went with the two tier seafood tower to start and it was very good. I also go the King's Feast which is admittedly pricey, but worth the money. The service is also excellent. The owner will come to your table from time to time... More

What do the words Grand Tower mean to you when you see it? I imagine it as a decadent celebration of all things rich and opulent. Baller! Ask to see the meat! Awesome

This is the second year in a row I take my team out for dinner to thank them for a job well done. Steakhouse 85 is the only place I'd take them to show how much I appreciate their efforts. Matt the Owner was friendly and very accommodating and the staff represents his establishment well! We'll be back next year!!!

To start we had the bacon appetizer... LIKE CRACK! . For dinner we had filet mignon and cowboy steak , and split a baked potato. The filet was good. The cowboy steak was great. Baked potato was good also. But that bacon!!! Oh my. Service was very good.

Expensive but awesome food and service. Had a party of seven and everyone was happy. Knowledgable server, very refined, and quality of beef was great.

My best friend and I visit steakhouses when we get together 1-2x a year. Usually we'll go to a well known place - Palm, Smith and Wollensky, Capital Grille, Mortons, Flemings. Never disappointed. This year we had to meet halfway between our homes. And I'd lived in New Brunswick for 2 years 30 years ago. So this was a good... More

Great dining experience. The owner met us at the door and sat us to our table. Very nice atmosphere. The calamari and bacon appetizers were excellent, but I would pass on the meatballs. Bread and olive oil with garlic was good too. I had a 14 oz delmonico, medium rare, cooked perfectly with lots of flavor. Onion rings and creamy... More
