Steakhouse 85 is a 21st century rendition of the classic American Steakhouse. The menu at Steakhouse 85 is comprised of fresh and inspiring modern day interpretations of classic American cuisine, served alongside the traditional steakhouse classics we all know and love. The back bone of our menu is without a doubt our beef. Our mouth watering dry aged steaks are rubbed with a simple yet luscious combination of sea salt, black pepper and fresh herbs. They are seared on a 1200 degree cast iron grill and then broiled to your liking. Paired with a large classically designed bar, complete with savvy cocktails and a Wine Spectator award winning wine list, this steakhouse is sure to please.

Wow. Even for New Brunswick standards the staff have a new low level of dead eyes humourless interaction. Not a happy place to visit

I've been here for lunch. I love the rib-eye sandwich. Well who can go wrong with the music playing in the background, you will want "Sway" with Dean Martin.

We enjoyed a nice dinner here recently and particularly appreciated the excellent service given to our whole group, especially our two young sons. We took advantage of a good Friday night deal for couples including starters, mains and deserts plus a bottle of wine or credit against a more expensive wine for $99, so it wasn't even an expensive night.

This place is amazing. To begin with, we were seated by the owner. That by itself says a lot about this establishment. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, he knew almost everything you need to know about steak. They were having lobster fest so I ordered a 2 1/2 lb lobster stuffed with crab meat. The absolute greatest experience I ever... More

Six of my family members dined here for my brother in law's 60th birthday. It also happened to be restaurant week, and the deals were fantastic, including (for 2) a bottle of wine, appetizer, entree and dessert for $99. The presentation of the steaks by our waiter was terrific and we weren't rushed by any means. Everything we had was... More

Situated across the street from the municipal parking garage, this is a great place for a business lunch. The food is excellent with a full menu, but of course the focus is on steaks. We found them tasty and juicy.

Best Steakhouse in New Brunswick hands down. We've been here a couple of times on date night and this place never disappoints. Service is top notch. My wife loves the lobster mac and cheese. The aged Delmonico was delicious. We were able to catch the live jazz the nights we went. Love the atmosphere. Can't wait to get back here.

The steaks are excellent as well as the side dishes and appetizers. The waiter gave an excellent overview of all the different cuts and aging, etc. I had the scalloped potatoes and the brussels sprouts. The service was very good. Other then beef there aren't many other choices on the menu, but it is called a "Steakhouse" after all.

This was our third time at this restaurant and each time was wonderful. This time we went with the two tier seafood tower to start and it was very good. I also go the King's Feast which is admittedly pricey, but worth the money. The service is also excellent. The owner will come to your table from time to time... More
