Steak undercooked. Portions small. Food tastes good but like eating at Nicolas Resturant hungry when we left.

This restaurant is located in a renovated vintage hotel building and the rooms are spacious with high ceilings. The noise level is low which makes conversing very easy. The tables are spaced apart enough to make circulating easy. I ordered the Misticanza salad followed by two scoops of gelati. The salad greens were fresh. The portions were of average size.... More

We have gone to Due Mari several times and always had a very nice experience -- and then we suddenly had a bad experience. We discussed our concerns with management and to their credit they listened and invited us back. Well our return visit was extremely pleasant -- the food (sword fish, brazino, short ribs , salads, desserts) were all... More

My wife and I have been going to Due Mari for several years now, and it is easily our favorite restaurant in this part of the state. The folks at Due Mari are very professional and attentive, and are quite friendly. The place itself is very nicely furnished and decorated, making the restaurant a nice place for a special occasion... More

Due Mari's meals are always top quality, if you are able to get a reservation, which you will usually need to make well in advance in most cases. Can be a little crowded and a little cramped, but it is tolerable.

We invited a couple from Manhattan to join us for dinner and a show at George Street Playhouse. We had not eaten at Due Mari but heard good things. I am glad we took a chance. The atmosphere was modern and lovely. The service was professional. The food was great. We all enjoyed the four-course prix-fixe option. We ordered a... More

OK so first I must confess i have never had dinner here, but have had lunch several times. I seem to always get the bronzino because it's so good, but I tried the lobster roll once. They also have fabulous sorbet. Have also been to parties here and the cocktails and passed items were very good. There is a nice,... More

We made a reservation and was greeted by a very sour young hostess. She was actually rude until we told her the name for the reservation. Not a great start, she sat us at a very cramped small table, when we requested another one she just said no and walked away. The one we requested sat empty for the full... More
