Lovely function spot!

Attended a lovely Bridal Shower luncheon here. Service was very attentive, but not smothering. Food was delicious and served at convenient times during function activities. We did not feel "rushed" during the afternoon. Chicken parm was tender and delicious as was the chocolate molten cake... read more

My husband and I just moved to this area coming from Europe and really enjoyed this first visit at Grato. We'd definitely go again. We liked the interior decor and atmosphere. A bit of music but not too loud, and despite big family tables around us, it wasn't noisy, thanks to glass door partitions. We had a great lunch on... More

A real deception about this place ... We expected that an Italian restaurant is a clear secured choice and finally even if you are ready to spend money, the dishes were disappointing. Calamari were OK Shrimps were overcooked on a ton of pasta badly cooked and swimming in creamy oil personal was aggressive as if you were disturbing them ...... More

Warm atmosphere with wonderful food. The staff is helpful and friendly. I love a place that lets you enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. This may sound picky, but I love that do not pick up plate until everyone at the party has finished eating. In addition (again a pet peeve) They do not open a new bottle of wine... More

Would we go back - Nope. Went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't very busy. Chicken Parmesan was tough, Chicken Francese was pretty much the same. Paid extra for getting pasta instead of broccoli rabe but was never told it was extra. Brussel sprouts and broccoli rabe were the vegetables that nobody ate. When I asked for capellini pasta... Same owners. Food also good but completely different than Tabor's menu & interior. As the name implies, Grato meaning cellar, the interior walls are of stone. The openness allows one to view the long line of chefs from most tables should that be someones interest. The bar is small but cozy.

We went to Grato for a business dinner on a Wednesday. We ordered Fried Calamari for the table and it was amazing. Perfectly seasoned, fresh tasting and overall delicious. We were 16 so everyone ordered different entrees and not one person had anything bad to say. I must say it was really good. The only reason I did not give... More

I had been here once before for lunch about a year ago. I liked it very much. This visit I did take out. Appetizer, salad and pizza = $45. Ouch! Especially since I wasn't overly impressed with the food. Eggplant rollatini was just ok. The pomadore sauce was tasty. The seafood salad was good, but on the small side. The... More

Visited Grato for the first time Jan. 16 with a friend. We sat at bar and ordered dinner to dine at bar. Bartenders/waiters were very inviting, friendly, and knew their food and drinks inside out. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. It was such a nice change of pace to hear wait staff able to describe any dish we asked... More
