Looking for something other than pasta or chips, we paid a visit to Egans in search of potatoes and veg with a bit of meat thrown in. The menu offered various choices and I went for a steak thing with mash and veg. Our order for seven people ( 4 adults and 3 kids), came in bits and pieces. In... More

Eagans is one of our favorite Irish Style pubs in the area. They have a pretty wide selection on their menu but we always go for the Fish 'n Chips and Burgers. The patron base seems to run in shifts. Very huge family crowd early on, followed up by an equally big number of young adults, easing into those serious... More

There is outdoor tables in the front. The set up is a little different inside with the street side high top seating/tables, A bar in the middle, a semi private room with a long table that looks like it seats about 8 or 10 people, then seating area for dining and another room towards the back which I think is... Eagans is a nice bar with a menu that is better than most bars. The orzo salad is delicious and filling if you add a protein. Burgers are good here too as well are most of the appetizers. Professional crowd for the most part.

Egan's is a lot of fun, and great in the summer because you can stay outside. It does get packed though and it can be hard to move around. The back porch area gets really packed as well. If you are looking for a seat good luck! The other thing that could be good or bad depending on the person... More

Very good and knowledgable bar tender and the food plus his beer recommendations were spot on. Beer selection, both draft and bottle very good. Well worth a visit.

Elegant setting with extensive woodwork and original paintings on the walls. Extensive beer selection of craft and specialty beers. Large menu selection from pizza through fresh fish and meat choices. Wait staff was attentive and helpful with suggestions. Worth a visit.

Bad food at a high price. Our tip should have been when we saw full plates going back to the kitchen. Montclair has so many good restaurants - this one is not one of them!
