Uninspired pub grub, average beers and ales, indifferent service, and the din makes conversation impossible. Aside from the "Toasties" on the menu, it's Meh in Montclair.

I had dinner here last night with my friend Marion who lives nearby. This is a big warm place with a very active bar scene. Big HDTVs at the bar. There are three large comfortable dining rooms. I had the caramelized salmon, served with mashed potatoes and spinach. A simple nice sized dish and really very good They have an... More

Went here for dinner. We shared an order of wings. Interesting sauce. It was sort of Buffalo mild, but had a sweet taste. My wife and kids loved it. I thought it was ok, but prefer spicy Buffalo. I had fish & chips for dinner. The fish was watery and soggy. Thus, either someone in the kitchen dropped mine in... More

Wonderful atmosphere and very good food. You can never go wrong here. Excellent service and very good beer and other drinks. I love Egan's in West Orange too. Also a solid establishment.

This was our first time in Montclair. The Inn Keeper from the Georgian Inn recommended this place AND based on TripAdvisor reviews we decided to give this place a try. After dinner we were headed to the Wellmont to see Jethro Tull, and figured that a British pub would set the mood. As others have already stated, the locals come... More

We often go with the family after a game or on a weekend night. Lots of tv's, liquor license and good food. We love to sit outside in the summer!

We just really, really enjoyed ourselves at this location. It has a upbeat atmosphere filled with happy people--noisy, of course, but in a good way. The server was very professional, the food was perfectly prepared and served piping hot, and we were allowed to linger chatting with no pressure at all. Great craft beer selection which the server helped us... More

This is a "British" Pub that has the fun feel of a pub restaurant (and a great drinks menu) but is still appealing to families with kids. This place works as a couple's destination, a family gathering or for drinks among friends. And the menu is comfortable and delicious without being overly pretentious or too common. All in all a... This may be the best bar in New Jersey. It has very good bar food--fish and chips, bangers and mash, cottage pie, chicken pot pie. Also entrees like grilled salmon and filet mignon, and some lighter dishes, including a Mediterranean plate. There are always raw oysters. The beer, though, is why I go to Egan's at least once a week.... More

Food's good. They draw a nice pint of Guiness. Don't really like their burgers that much. Generally a good place to meet friends for a quick bite and a beer, but there are other places I like better.
