Grear Decor and Ambiance. However, not a place to come back and experience a great meal. It feels like you are part of a production line: Servers and Host: not customer friendly at all. I tried 2 Tapas and one Entree, and nothing special on any. Not for the real Cuban experience.

My son took me to Cuban Pete's on my birthday on a Saturday, knowing I love Spanish food, and this was the best birthday for me. Firstly, getting to thee seating outside was like going thru an oasis. It reminded me of a restaurant I ate at in San Juan, Puerto Rico a few years ago. It took us 20... More

We waited 45 minutes just to get water for our table. And when we asked another server as we hadn't yet seen ours he was rude and told us to wait for our own server. When our server finally came to our table he made us feel like a total inconvenience. The food was average

Wow :( we are so ashamed of the mgmt at this restaurant. We took out of town friends for dinner for what we thought would be a memorable evening out, and what a disappointment. We were haphazardly sat at a crammed table. When we moved to a bigger table we were rudely told that they could not allow 4 people... More

When you walk in here, it doesn't feel like you're in New Jersey! It has such an awesome and true Cuban vibe inside that you forget where you are! The service is fast, and the waiters are great! The food and drinks are delicious! It tends to get very crowded at night, and sometimes there can be a long wait.... More

Rice beans, coconut fish with mango salsa, chicken with a spicy gravy. The best beans in Montclair! A bit loud and the seating is crowded into overdone rooms, but did I already say the food was sensational? Service was courteous and Prices reasonable for the generous portions served. Will go again.

We visited there on a warm Saturday afternoon. I enjoyed how there was outdoor seating that was not right on the street. Their courtyard between the buildings gives a great atmosphere - must be awesome at night. Food was good. Started with a pitcher of Sangria, some small tapas plates, and had a Cuban sandwich and a grilled chicken sandwich.... More

I've been hearing about this place from friends...so finally went to this place on a Sunday with 9 other friends. We had a great time! good food, excellent service, reasonable price, and nice Latin ambiance. Try not to come on a weekend....we had to wait but its expected since they had to create a table for 10.... If you are... More

Thoroughly enjoyed every minute at this restaurant. It's bring your own liquor, and they will add your wine in the sangria for you. The food as fresh, made to order and perfect. All the seasonings were incorporated perfectly. The music, live band, and the atmosphere makes you were not in Montclair. Will definitely return, and soon.
