Owner is extremely rude. Customer service is awful. Girl who answered phone was rude. They take no reservations for large parties and want you to wait 2 hours for seating. Do not spend your money here as they do not deserve it.

Cuban Pete's is just awesome! The restaurant has a great environment, the food is served in generous portions. There's plenty of options: seafood, pork, beef, chicken, etc. and everything is SO flavorful. I love this place! And I feel like my words can't do justice to it. My best advice is: come and try it for yourself. You won't regret... More

My Mom recently moved to Montclair so I surprised her with a visit on sunday afternoon and we decided to go here. The atmosphere is really cool and exciting. Definitely not a place for anyone who is bothered by loud music because the place gets loud. The only downfall was walking through the restaurant. It was jam packed inside and... More

Arrive early if you wanted to be seated within the hour. Food and drinks were excellent and our appetizers and meal came out quickly. Service was slow when we wanted to order more drinks or needed small things. The atmosphere was wonderful but you are packed into the space like sardines. The atmosphere was awesome but the music was a... More

The owner is very rude and doesn't deserve your business. Please DO NOT PATRONIZE! He told me that since he is the owner, he can do or say whatever he wants!

We stumbled upon Pete's over a quick weekend trip to NJ. From the outside it looked like a fun place with outdoor seating so we decided to give it a try. We were given a table inside but next to French doors which opened to the outdoor patio. The décor is fun and the music is loud - we wished... More

Highly recommended if you're in the area. Forget fast food and head to this establishment for amazing dishes. Had the Vaca Fritas & Flan De Mi Tierra. Delicious!! Will try Costillas De Manolo next.

Went by last night(Sunday) not too crowded. I would hate to see what this place looks like on Sat. Appetizers were phenomenal. Great vibe, lovely garden and awesome staff. Can get a little crazy cause there is a lot of staff but sit back relax bring a bottle and enjoy Cuba in your own back yard.

I have been here with large groups for dinner and small groups for lunch. The atmosphere is festive and electric with the music bouncing off the Cuban themed decor. This is a celebration restaurant and not for date night. They have outdoor seating for the spring and summer. Both the food and service are hit or miss. They have a... More

I waited for months for this restaurant to open when it finally did it was amazing. The food was so good that I asked the owner if he had his Mom or Grandmother back there cooking. Unfortunately through the years the food has become mediocre at best. I don't even want to get started on service, is the waitstaff trained?
