When my wife and I ate there, I ordered a drink and my wife had a Diet Pepsi. I kept to my one drink, but my wife refilled her soda several times. When the bill came, the soda cost was over $20, more than the cost of her meal. When I questioned and later complained, I was told by the... More

As an ex-pat Brit living in the USA, the Ship Inn is an excellent provider for a decent pint of bitter served from a traditional hand pump. The quality of the brew is comparable with many of the regional beers available in the UK. However, that is where the "British experience" ends, as the food is not that good or... More

The Ship Inn is similar to taverns in England. It is well worn and cozy. We enjoyed the house brew and of course the atmosphere. As for the food so-so.

Great views of the creek alongside the Restaurant and some very good home made beers. the food however is lack luster…just my opinion. So go for the beer , the view but save dinner for somewhere else.

Lovely place, old fashioned English feel. I ordered the sampler platter that contained a Scotch egg, a Welsh pastie, onion and cheese pie, and a bit of sausage in pastry. Very nice food. They brew their own beer and I had a delicious pint. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If I lived in Milford I would spend a great... More

Awesome brewer who has 4-6 Micro brews on tap at any point in time. Great British menu and we love the daily specials...fresh fish, vegetarian options. Great specials during the week...Tuesday Burgers are local beef and served with a pint very inexpensive. Wednesdays are another favorite...Fish & Chips. We always feel welcomed by so many of the great staff.

We went to Ship Inn last night with friends for dinner, and as always, it was great. I will say that I am a big fan of the beer!! I love their beer styles and their recipes. Man, however does not live by beer alone. :-) The food was wonderful as always. We started with toast in a blue cheese... More

We have been here several times so it is one of our go to haunts. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. If you are a beer person you must stop in. Very relaxed and comfortable pub. Clean and homey comes to mind, and on the historical side it is the first brewpub in New Jersey to brew... More

We tried this place one night when the oyster house was closed. I think I went in expecting more of a seafood place rather then an English place. Although we were originally disappointed since we were craving fish...we really enjoyed our meal. The drinks were good as well. I think we will have to go back again and give it... More
