Best Indian food without travelling into Iselin. Family oriented restaurant. My kids LOVE eating here. We bring all our visiting family and friends here. Good location, good service, good food. Only downside I have is that the food was very mild. I guess maybe we have to mention to make it hot, but then again I was not asked if I required mild, medium hot, or hot.

“No delivery = 1 less star”

I could never figure out why this restaurant doesn't deliver like all the Chinese Restaurants do. I would order from them at least a few times a month if they did. I love their food and breads. Always well made and really delicious. If they started home delivery I think they would open up a whole new customer base.

the food is very good. The buffet is great to try the different types of food. but the food on the buffet does not change. they need to add different types of food to the buffet periodically so people can try other types of indian food. the service is good but the owners are not very friendly.

We went to Neelam for their New Years Eve buffet.The place was packed. Fortunately, we had reservations and were seated within 5 minutes. The buffet is a great way to sample many of their dishes. I eat Indian a lot, but the reason this is the 2nd Best Indian Cuisine is because it's further from my house than Aamantran on Rte.9 in Toms River. Both places are great! We are lucky to be local to this wonderful restaurant. We do take-out and go there frequently. The flavors are wonderful. It is bring your own. We have been going to and ordering from here for many years. We are never disappointed. They always make the dishes extra spicy for my husband and he likes it HOT.
