Nothing Irish or good about the food. Had the special during world cup - 1 sausage, 1 rasher, a few small thin slices of Corned Beef and half a head of boiled cabbage. Sausage was dark brown, dry and crumbly with odd taste - a mix of 2 day old Bologna and Black Pepper. Nothing like an Irish sausage. The... More

Thanks for coming into our family pub and providing your feedback on TRIP ADVISOR reviews. I'm glad that you like TRIP ADVISOR and it has given you the opportunity to provide your feedback. I apologize for the terrible dining experience you had at the pub the other night. The appetizer you described in your review, is the best selling appetizer... More

Used a restaurant.com coupon and found out most appetizers were half-price during happy hour. Good deal. Filet mignon bites, eggplant, o'reuben spring rolls and fried bacon were all excellent. Onion soup: skip it, not much cheese and too much bread. Entrée: fish and chips lacked seasoning. Attentive waitresses. You do have to pay for on street meters (before 6 pm)... More

Hailey's has a great beer selection, especially craft beers. They have a good selection of food on the menu, but the quality is average. The bar is also loud even when not crowded. The service is OK. However, there is one bartender who will ignore you unless you are a regular and she knows you. There is no reason to... More

Hailey's is a very lively Irish Pub in downtown Metuchen. It has a great bar, with many choices of beer and a typical "pub" menu. The service is usually good, except on Friday and Saturday nights when the place gets packed, and the service slows somewhat. Hailey's has music many nights and is a great place to meet friends and... More

A typical pub atmosphere with music -- very festive. A wide variety of choices, the service was good and the food was nicely prepared.

Hailey's is an Irish pub with draft Guinness and British/Irish as well as American food. Pretty much standard pub atmosphere and fare, so if that is your thing, worth a visit.

We attended a wedding here on a Sunday, so a bit different experience than sitting down - but everything was excellent. There's a great selection of beers on tap as well as wines and specialty cocktails listed on the chalkboards above the bar. For food, they served a buffet which was really good (so my guess is the regular ordered... More

Average ales and although a very typical pub menu, the food is more than disappointing. Although it is the only pub for miles, I will not go there again.

Decided to drop by and visit Hailey's again, as it had been a while. Very glad I did! My server, Jackie, was welcoming and ready to get me my favorite drink (which is a somewhat unique request, but was easily accommodated). My bowl of corn and bacon chowder was outstanding, and I followed it up with one of my favorites,... More

Terrible service. Waited 45 min only to be told burnt the French onion soup. No one else was ordering food at 8:30 on a Sunday night!
