Great beer list!

One of the best beer lists I've seen in a while. Inventive bar food menu with healthy options as well as full menu with fair priced entrees and salads. Portions were big and well flavored. Staff was attentive and jovial. Parking was an ease with spots lined up adjacent to the location. Great... read more

Had the pleasure to go to a special event-upstairs at the Blue Monkey Tavern. Walking up to the 1894 restored three stories building you see a great attention to detail. Flowers line the gardens, hanging baskets on the porch great attention to style, grace and every little detail. The elevator to the second floor banquet facility opened up to a... More

I'd heard from 2 ppl. 1 beforehand and 1 in the restaurant about the owner. And I also read here about the owner. From these descriptions, I spotted the owner behind the bar. & hoped there would be no interaction. No, this was not the case. When my SIL requested to see a manager as the food was taking too... Stumbled across a gem with this place. Business traveler out driving around looking for a pub for a quick dinner and came across the Blue Monkey. Old pub matching the charm of the small town Main St it's located on with extremely friendly staff and awesome food. The portabella chicken appetizer is perfection, almost a main course in itself and... More

One of favorite places to visit. Never been disappointed. Only problem you'll have is deciding what to chose for your meal.

The Blue Monkey is a frequented restaurant of mine. The beer selection is always plentiful. There's so many taps, it's hard not to find a beer you will enjoy. The drafts rotate very frequently too. The fried pickle appetizer is one of my favorites. Recommends on food: warm spinach salad & tilapia fiesta. I've also enjoyed numerous burgers and paninis.... More

If you live in town and are hungry and thirsty and want to bump into your peeps, you can't avoid the Blue Monkey. Great tap, expert/satisfying cocktails and heavy duty pub grub. Can't remember anything in particular prolly 'cause I "walked home" (literally & figuratively), Plus its kindof like the anti-Collingswood.....just sayin'

We were not disappointed. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass, which she pronounced yummy on the first bite. I had the meatball parm sandwich, which was tasty and filling. Drinking atmosphere, with a large bar. Probably would return if we are ever back in the area.

My wife and I have eaten at the Blue Monkey several times. Each time it has been a fun experience. There is a bar with a wide assortment of "adult beverages" and their menu is excellent, but what I want to comment on is their black Angus hamburgers. The basic burger is excellent, but when you add mushrooms, cheese (there... More

Love their sandwiches. Waitress was quick and attentive. The food arrives nice and hot. Keep trying different sandwiches and entree's. Never disappointed. Usually I'll stay with a favorite on the menu but decided to try something different each time and loved everything. Drinks are made well also. The restaurant is located in the cute little 1 mile town of Merchantville.... More
