A visit to the Pub of the Tavern will offer a poignant reflection of earlier times in the Village of Medford and days gone by at this, the local roadhouse. Indeed, many of the original documents and photographs, as well as the frames themselves, were actually recovered from the attic and basement of this very building during renovations. Braddock's Tavern currently offers casual fine dining on two floors in a marvelous colonial atmosphere. The present day traveler will find a varied menu filled with an assortment of comfort food, fresh seafood, poultry, and beef. In addition to the intimate dining rooms of the main tavern, Braddock's offers two elegant banquet facilities. Formerly the site of Earl Braddock's adjacent shop and storehouses, Colonial Room, which seats 150 guests, and Tamberson Hall, accommodating up to 75 guests, are without a doubt, the most beautifully detailed facilities of their kind. Lovingly restored and rich in history, Braddock's Tavern offers the present day traveler a delightful setting for fine dining and elegant private parties.

We were scouting around for a local restaurant that had a tasty and varied menu for our family of picky eaters, a vegetarian, and a gluten free diner. Braddock's fit the bill in a way few other restaurants could. The salads were fresh, burgers were delicious, roasted veggies lovely, salmon grilled perfectly, and lamb braised so tenderly it fell off... More

The experience was so bad. It was so sad, my mother wanted to go there so bad. The owner was rude. He could care less as he pranced around in sneakers, really you can't even put on shoes. He said nothing to our table, like Happy Thanksgiving or how is your dinner. They were unfreezing the frozen mashed potatoes, mine... More

Thanksgiving Dinner was just BAD! The turkey did not seem fresh - not edible. The soup and desserts were also bad. We were a table of 4 and no one liked their meal. I am just mad we did not walk out.

We returned the Lobster Bisque -- I am a fan of Lobster Bisque and this version was not edible. The Thanksgiving Dinner - Turkey tasted like a Hungry Man Frozen Dinner / The Stuffing had no taste / The greens beans were so tough we could not eat them. The cheesecake tasted like the cardboard box that it was frozen... More

I had a steak here and it was half cooked on one side and the other was raw. First time there and not impressed at all The food didn't taste that great and I found it very expensive for mediocre food. The cocktail was very good though but I'd rather go elsewhere for food

This restaurant used to be a destination in Medford. The past several years it has been going downhill. The food is not as great, the variety of food is no longer there and the décor needs a bit of upgrading.

Charming and cozy Bar on the first floor. Definitely worth the effort of figuring out where their parking lot is (behind the building). Attracts an older crowd (translation-the 20 something crowd is not hanging out here). Good place for a date, meeting a few friends, or taking a colleague out. Food is always good, the menu varies.

Following a not-so-good experience years ago, I was learly of Braddocks when it was suggested by friends. However, Braddocks seems to be on an upswing. I arrived 20 minutes before our reservation, was comfortably seated and enjoyed a Champagne Pomegranate sparkler from the happy hour menu while I waited for my friends. The menu is slightly pricey (avg. $30 entree),... More

What better way to end a simply beautiful fall day than to enjoy great comfort food and drinks in Medford's historical Braddock's Tavern. The friendly dining atmosphere was enhanced by the lively crowd and spirited conversations at the adjacent bar.
