My husband and I were invited to a birthday with three other guests. The room was was filled with other diners, yet it was as quiet as a funeral! We felt uncomfortable talking! It was bizarre! Once we ordered we were served good bread, but then it all changed. The salad had rusty iceberg lettuce in a soiled bowl and... More

It is great Italian cuisine. You would have a good evening. The service is very good. Sometimes have a waiting line go early.

If you like Italian food you have to try eating here. Absolute best homemade spaghetti you'll ever taste and every other kind of Italian dish. Salad is delicous, garlic bread AND sesame bread are served.

Service very good, salad and bread very good, prices good. entrée pathetic, eggplant parm burnt and over baked.meatballs mushy tasted like thawed from frozen, angle hair was perfect, sauce tasted like thickened tomato juice. can't believe they call this an Italian.

Attempted to have dinner here this evening. The salad was terrific and so was the bread. Everything else was disappointing. The eggplant was dry and chewy. :(. The sauce was boring. The meatball was soft and mushy. The atmosphere was nice but will not return.

We've been to Maplewood many times over the years, and each time it's an excellent meal from the family style salad down to the entrée. I'd like to tell you their desserts are just as good, but we eat so much appetizers, soup, bread, garlic bread (the best!) and the huge entrees that we never save enough room for dessert!!!... More

If you like Spaghetti this is the place for you. Note: if you want a white sauce ask what its made of first. Its not your normal white sauce. House salad was good, you get a whole loaf of bread and garlic bread. Service was good.

there were six of us dining to celebrate a birthday. Each of us had a different entrée, and none of us were disappointed. The food was delicious and piping hot. The calamari appetizer was really good. The pricing was fair for the quality and quantity of the food. I will be back to enjoy again when I am nearby.

The food at the Maplewood is great! Service is wonderful AND they have a full service bar. The only downside is that they do not take reservations for parties under 5-6 people. So there is often a wait but, it is always worth it. The specialty dishes offer wonderful, fresh seafood and the meatballs and rigatoni are a family favorite.... More
