Highlight of my mother's 95th birthday!

The night of my mother's 95th birthday started out as horrendous! We went to Cape May to a restaurant that lost power and gave us nothing but bread. We bought a bottle of Chanmpagne to toast my mom's birthday. After an hour we decided to go to the Tuckahoe Inn and travel 30 minutes up the road in a... read more

We made a reservation for 10 people at 8pm. When we arrived we were told to wait a few minutes, we were finally seated at 8:45pm with a RESERVATION! By 9:30 pm we had only eaten our salads and were told that our dinner would be "awhile". Needless to say I gathered my 7 and 4 year old sons and... More

A friend mentioned how much they love this place so we decided to check it out one day. Oh my, the music could put you to sleep but I am sure the very aged guests which were all that were there at that time may have enjoyed the very easy listening. The outdoor dining was a couple rows of picnic... More

Annual visit didn't disappoint... Love the location at sunset. Food is always good but service can be slow... Seems like a kitchen issue. Staff is very courteous and monitor tables. Still want to try an outside table when the music is playing.

Love the history of this place, right in the water, family friendly and most importantly great reasonably priced food. There were locals and visitors. This place is off the beaten path and it's worth it. The outside deck wasn't open to eat on, but there was a beach out there too.

For as long as I can remember, my family and I have driven passed by the Tuckahoe Inn on our way down to the shore. This year for my birthday we finally decided to try the Tuckahoe Inn, and boy what a treat. Thank God I made a reservation because the joint was jumping. When we arrived the host staff... More

I have lived near the Tuckahoe Inn my whole life. I has always been a great place to go for a good meal and great views of the bay. You could dine inside for fine dining off the full menu or outside off a limited menu & enjoy live music. Well the time before this visit my party of 4... More

I went to the Tuckahoe Inn with a party of eight including my wife, son, daughter in law, two grandchildren and my daughter in law's parents. I have reviewed many restaurants and have eaten all over the world, and without a doubt this the worst experience I ever encountered. It took over us over an hour and half to get... More

First time here on our 24th wedding anniversary and was not impressed with the food or the dining arrangements. Hostess walked us to our table along the crowded bar and bar tables to our window seat just down from the loud and rumbustious bar crowd, not good! Place smelled and the carpet was black with dirt and food stains. Ordered... More

Loved the view and that the bar in the back is a small boat. The food smelled incredible but we came to late to sample any. Beautiful patio but $9 for a watered down drink is over the top. None of us liked the drinks.
