The Tuckahoe Inn in Marmora NJ provides a warm, relaxing, inviting and somewhat nautical ambiance for casual dining. The lunch menu includes a fixed price, 3 course meal for under $20.00. Soup or salad, entree, dessert and coffee are all included. Menu options are ample and include a large number of seafood dishes from crab cake with real, large, lump... More

Haven't been to the Tuckahoe in more than 20 years and not much has changed. We met up with some good friends for a nice Saturday night dinner in early October. The place was very busy but we didn't have to wait too long for a table, even though you could say this would be "off season". The service was... More

We go to South Jersey to bird twice a year and returned to this place after a hiatus of about 25 years. Owners have changed and the place is lively and more casual then we remember it from the past. There is large bar area that always seems to be busy. The main dining area has a superb view of... More

A friend recommended this as an old standby. She had a very nice large crabcake in her sandwich for dinner. I had some nice white bean and ham soup, but the Shrimp Vesuvius which was supposed to have crab, shrimp and rice with "butter sauce" was undistinguished. I mistakenly thought the sauce would be melted butter, but more of a... More

We have been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. My personal lunch favorite is the fried oysters and chicken salad,a South Jersey classic. Great bar and a great time.

For those who believe that it's all in the location, ignore the 'Bridge Closed' signs on Rte 9 and continue until you reach the closed bridge. There on your right will be this home of history and hospitality. It has been restored beautiffully and at the time of our visit it was decked out in its fall best both outside... More

It's just a great experience! Upon arrival you are greeted like an old friend by Matt the manager. It is obvious from the moment he meets you that he wants you to have an outstanding experience. Arrive early ,go to the bar and have a great Martini in a classic bar environment . ( fireplace is great in the fall... More

We went with friends for dinner on a September Saturday night. The place was jammed! Fortunately we called earlier for reservations and were actually seated early and at a water view table, thank you very much. Our server was Karen H. and she was prompt in taking and serving drink orders and in taking our dinner orders. A second round... More
