Not what it used to be but still a nice place to eat. The French onion soup is one of the best around. The crab cakes are very good here as well. lately we have had a meal that was just average but usually the food is good here. The price is comparative to most places, the dress is casual... More

Had reservations and were seated right away. Not approached by a waitress for almost a half an hour. Once we ordered our food,, the wait was extremely long. Too long. Other people were getting up and leaving. My husband had the stuffed flounder which was good. Prime rib was a little tough and fatty. The wait for coffee and dessert... More

Extremely long wait for food even though we were seated quickly. When they finally arrived, the appetizers were small but actually really delicious. Waitress was very nice, but service was beyond slow. Dinners (strip steak, shrimp Vesuvius) were beyond tasteless. Steak was grey. Shrimp was barely warm from the heat lamps. Kids liked their hot dogs... Maybe it would have... More

Started with the stuffed mushrooms. Fantastic! Had the red snapper was very tasty. As we waited outside at the bar by the water, it was a very pretty view. It would have been more enjoyable if we were able to sit and relax while we waited. The few seats at the bar were taken. It would have been better if... More

This is a really enjoyable restaurant ! Sitting on the bay outside of Somers Point, NJ, this is a pleasant, clean & well appointed restaurant & bar with a sense of class, yet casual. There is a great view of the bay, and an outdoor bar/ eating area that gives you a sense of being in the Keys. They also... More

The Tuckahoe still elicits a warm feeling whenever I'm near Ocean City. It harbors so many fond memories. On our recent visit the Inn did not disappoint. We made sure that we got there by 5:00 pm so as not to miss the Early Bird Specials which are a wonderful bargain. The a Tuckahoe Inn has not allowed itself to... More

We recently visited the Tuckahoe Inn for dinner. Having been there before for dinner and for larger functions I had certain expectations which were not realized. We made reservations and were seated upon arrival. Our waitress who was very friendly and attentive advised us of the evenings "specials" and took our drink and appetizer orders. The artichoke/crab dip appetizer was... More

My mate and I dined on a stormy Tuesday evening. We shared 6 fried oysters and requested the jalapeño sauce that normally comes with their crab cakes. One had a few oyster fragments in it but otherwise they were delish! My red snapper with jumbo lump crabmeat and hubby's duck with cranberry glaze were both excellent. Drinks at $8 each... More
