Took our mother for a special occasion. Reservations were on time, drinks at bar were good. After we were seated it took 35 minutes to even see a waitress. Who then coughed with halitosis all over us. Three hours later we were served our meal. The filet was full of hard fat, the lobster tasted like nothing. It had no... More

Our family visits the Jersey Shore every September and never miss a trip to the Tuckahoe Inn. This restaurant works very hard to be consistent and it shows. We have tried just about everything on this menu over the years and can say we have never had a disappointing meal. Thank you,Tuckahoe for the great food and lovely atmosphere.

We come here every year and will not be back again! My friend order the surf and turf. The menu said market price. It was $40. The filet was 5 oz and the lobster tail was smaller than the one in the broiled seafood combination. We asked to speak to the manager. He was an arrogant s.o.b who just kept... More

This is still an excellent choice for dinner if you are in the Ocean City area and would like a place that serves drink. They have a great bar with several draft beers, including two local microbrews and we enjoyed both, an IPA and a Porter. Our group of 4 ordered several dishes and all were fantastic - steaks, scallops,... More

My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary here on August 29th, 2014. We made a reservation to be seated at the window overlooking the ocean. When we got there, we could tell from the number of vehicles that this restaurant gets very good support. We were able to park outside on the street, because the parking lot was... More

With the lack of quality restaurants around OCNJ, Tuckahoe Inn stands out. Party of 6 of us dined and everyone enjoyed their meals. 3 of us had the broiled seafood combo, 1 had the crabcakes, 1 had the stuffed flounder and 1 had the Wahoo fish(one of the specials). All very good and a good value for the price. We... More

I went there with my family about 14 of us. We wanted to be on the deck area since we had little kids with us and they could run around out there. We really love the ambiance and the staff is amazingly friendly! I'm giving 3 stars for a few reasons. If you eat on the deck you are Limited... More

Not what it used to be but still a nice place to eat. The French onion soup is one of the best around. The crab cakes are very good here as well. lately we have had a meal that was just average but usually the food is good here. The price is comparative to most places, the dress is casual... More

Had reservations and were seated right away. Not approached by a waitress for almost a half an hour. Once we ordered our food,, the wait was extremely long. Too long. Other people were getting up and leaving. My husband had the stuffed flounder which was good. Prime rib was a little tough and fatty. The wait for coffee and dessert... More
