Decent diner food

We live close by so we have breakfast here every once in a while. It's no big deal, nothing special.

We have been here multiple times. Breakfast, lunch and dinners, each time good food, good service. Not gourmet but stick to the bones type of food. Tasty large portions.

It's been a while since we last ate here, but last night's dinner was in stark contrast to prior visits. I never considered this a gourmet destination, but the food was good and good value. This time, we all ordered one of the specials, 'Baked pork chops." They weren't baked. They were grilled within an inch of life. Split pea... More

Visited this diner while traveling. The food was surprisingly good and cheerfully served. However, the facility itself could use a good scrubbing and some minor maintenance. Sticky floors and bathrooms make me wonder about the kitchen.

Today is a cold rainy day and a good hot bowl of Chicken Dettilini soup hit the spot. Also ordered chicken croquette with mashed potatoes and peas, yum! Food here is always good served hot by friendly people. Only complaint is they are a stickler for upgrades add cheese to a sandwich and you could get a 1/4 pound in... More

I met a friend here for breakfast. I had a bad experience here back in July but decided to try again. Same experience this time. The pancakes were chewy the bacon was over cooked. The eggs were good. I will not go back again

Enjoyed my Burger and fries (hot fries with ketchup -mmm!). Dad had eggs/bacon/toast - his norm when he can't decide. Eggs came as he liked them - over medium plus toast was fresh for his dipping. Not my fave place though - we tend to get seated at the back no matter the hour we arrive - most times place... More

We stopped for lunch. I love diners for lunch, there are always lots of specials and prices are usually good. I ordered the chicken souvlaki special which included a cup of soup, sandwich, fries, Cole slaw, pickle, beverage and pudding for $9.99. My husband had a patty melt which was served with fries , Cole slaw, pickle and a beverage... More

Over all its a diner I do have to remind myself of this. I went for a late diner French Toast and bacon. Both were OK but not great. It's a diner I know, bit we should still have a meal worth eating.

I eat here quite often with my kids and family. Everyone always has a huge smile for you. Have you ever heard penny lead a happy birthday chorus? Or had carol serve you breakfast with a smile? Food is always on point and prices are more than reasonable! Definitely our favorite place to eat. Stop in and ask for a... More
